Had a 2nd story room facing the river, awesome views and very quiet. About 4 blocks to main st, leisurely 10 minute walk. No breakfast was offered but there is a Denny's a block away. The Applebee's was nasty-please don't go there! Nice clean area, lots of parking .

My husband and I stayed at the Durango Downtown Inn twice in summer 2015--July and September. Both times we had an upper floor room facing the river. Both times we had great service, a clean, remodeled, spacious and comfortable room. We stayed in a total of 7 moderately priced hotels in Southern Colorado and this was our favorite. I would...

Don't be fooled by the pictures - they say how nice it is to have a room right by the river and river walk. Well when I went to walk my dog on the river the next morning, a bicyclist yelled at me to get out of his way and added a sarcastic comment about tourists. I had the misfortune...

Had an excellent experience at Downtown Inn. Woke up to find there was no hot water in our room. I notified the front desk. They Immediately gave us another room to shower in and then took a discount of our bill. Then they gave us a Gift certificate to Applesbee's. I totally forgot about the cold water because we felt...

Stayed here on a mini Colorado road trip and wanted to stay downtown. For this it is a great motel. We did have a 1st floor room facing the river, it was quiet and really nothing wrong with the room. It was fairly clean, but it is dated. It is walkable to all the bars and shopping. I thought it...

Comfortable, but could use considerable updating. Bathroom area lacked space to put toiletries and cosmetics when getting ready. It is a very convenient location with restaurants and shops in walking distance.

We stayed here for labor day weekend. We choose this place because they allow dogs. The location is decent - it's a short walk to downtown Durango. However, the short walk is across a major street. The hotel borders the river - the walk along the river is beautiful. It was a great place to take the dogs. For the...

The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable, however no breakfast is included with the room. I would definitely stay here again. Price is on the high side, but all Durango hotels seem to priced on the high side. Don't pay full price, look for special pricing on the internet.

Great location as most hotels in Durango are out on the roads into town. Quiet location if you get a river view room. Good sized rooms Poor service as the pool was closed all the time we were there for 'cleaning' Every time we asked we were told a different story about when it was going to open. we were...

We paid quite bit for nightly rate here but we weren't impressed at all. It is almost impossible to check in before 4 which I understand, however it is not the main factor as to why I'm rating it as 3 stars. The room was a standard motel/inn room but the price for each night is outrageous. The bathroom is...
