Stayed overnight after diving with friends. Staff are friendly and the owner was very accomodating. Food was delicious. Nice view and quiet. Many choices for breakfast. Warm buffet, different breads and spread, cereals, fresh fruits you can add to your yogurt. Our room was neat & clean. Comfortable bed. Clean bathroom with toiletries.

We booked a deluxe room for 2. Rooms were very clean. Our room had separate beds but I knew that in advance. We were welcomed in a very nice and friendly way. Our room had a great view. It was quiet at night, albeit there were many guests staying so sound isolation is very good. The mattresses were a tad...

You aren't going to stay here for an Omni or Four Seasons experience, so you won't expect or pay for it. But if you are looking for clean and comfortable accommodations while visiting the villages on the island of St Philipsland, at a very reasonable price, this hotel is perfect. We stayed one night while exploring our Dutch heritage, and...

It's very quite hotel. We were there 4 times. Always it was good service. If you need a really quite hollidays, it's there. The hotel is with restaurant , so it's easy in the evening. Eat and sleep. Around the sea. The menu in restaurant is not so big, but everything is a good quality. At last time we took...

Hotel and restaurant are a bit off the beaten track, but well worth a detour for an overnight stay. Friendly welcome [ as ever in Holland ], perfect room, delicious evening meal in the dining room with a fab view over the estuary and a great breakfast. Definitely recommended

We went to the surrounding area of this place to get fresh seafood right out of the water. Many people do and it is some kind of activity gaining popularity. So we also tried today. The hotel owner didn't think this was a good idea since he told our group (with babies and toddlers) to move away. He did this...

Calm hotel next to the coastline. The service was very friendly and the breakfast good and very pleasent (nice views). We had a problem with the room, we received quick apology and did not have to pay the water from the mini bar as compensation. The hotel is quite far from any town, have to use the car to reach...

The Oosterschelde hotel and 't Veerhuis restaurant are under the same roof, but are reviewed separately. (I'm also referring to my review of the restaurant, that we visited on the same occasion.) I traveled with my handicapped wife (rollator), and found the hotel very accessible and safe. It's very matter-of-fact, when we arrived in the evening (and in the dark),...

Just two and a half drive time from Dunkirk ferry, the location of the hotel offers a real taste of the Netherlands waterlandscape - busy inland shipping route right before the door, wide polders and of course the skies. The sun sets across the water from the hotel and on a clear evening is a sight to behold. The hotel...

This hotel is at the end of the road at the very end of a peninsula (near Sint Philipsland), by the sea, and because there's only this hotel restaurant in the vicinity, it's very quiet and peaceful. We arrived a bit too early (check-in is from 2pm) and no one answered the door, so we explored the next peninsula and...
