The hotel is a litte far from the main attractions in downtown Cedar Springs. Although it was my fault for not reading the fine print, they do not take pets and we were traveling with a small dog. The state of Colorado is extremely pet friendly. Most of the other hotels take pets. They seemed to think this property was...

Let me first start off by saying this place was affordable and an easy place to get to, but I will summarize our stay by posting the good and the bad. The good: Our view was looking towards the mountain. Very affordable. Clean room. Great water pressure which is sometimes rare. The bad: Walls were paper thin. Heard everything from...

The Cedar Lodge was the first place we pulled into when we arrived in Glenwood Springs with no reservations. The price was quite reasonable. There was lots of parking available and we parked our two motorcycles right in front of the rooms. We had covers on the bikes because it was raining and in the morning, the staff had left...

I loved this place because it was friendly, clean and had a nice breakfast to 10:00 am. There were many families enjoying the outdoor and then indoor pool but it was not noisy. It is on 82 so it is away from the hot spring pool but it is easy to get to. Friendly staff and big nice room.

Room was spacious, and decent. Small fridge and microwave were present. Hot water was questionable in morning hours, but seem to have very quick recovery. There are four outdoor grills, which my family enjoyed cooking out. It's close enough to downtown to walk, but most I suspect would drive the distance. Has a indoor and outdoor pool.

I gave this lodge 5-stars because it's location, amenities and price was perfect for our particular family weekend. Parents were attending a wedding in Aspen, and the kids wanted to go to Glenwood Hot Springs pool (located 1.6. miles away). So if you are bringing along children, have transportation, and don't need to be close to fancy restaurants, we found...

We just stayed 9 nights in Glenwood at the Cedar Lodge & could not be more satisfied. In fact, we are returning for a week in August & have our reservations made to stay there again. We loved the location & ease of getting around to all areas in Glenwood & the Roaring Fork Valley. Rooms are spacious & clean...

We just got back from staying at The Cedar Lodge with our four young children. This has got to be one of friendliest and over accommodating staff we ever encountered. It is in close proximity to all the activities we did with our family and really enjoyed their outdoor swimming pool. The continental breakfast was always filled with plenty of...

Bought room as package with Amtrak where it said was .7 miles really 1.2 miles. Even further to the hot springs (1.6 miles) from the motel. If you want to eat at Safeway or taco bell and want a swimming pool instead of Glenwood famous hot spring this s***hole will work. If you want to make train ride and enjoy...

Contrary to a review done previously, the Cedar Lodge is a perfect motel choice for visitors to Glenwood Springs. This location is very safe, clean and family friendly. The grounds are impeccable, the staff friendly and very helpful. No one was ever rude or unaccommodating. We were in Glenwood Springs to visit friends and stayed 3 nights at the Cedar...
