I stayed at Buffalo Lodge twice and every time I enjoyed it. The condos are clean spacious and have all the amenities. The Lodge is 3 minutes walk from Gondolas and is right in the middle of everything - restaurants, shops, etc.

We stayed in condo #8416 on the fifth floor of the lodge. It had nice cathedral ceilings so it felt roomy. (We had four adults and an infant.) We felt there was plenty of room for our group and the floor plan was very open. We made many of meals in the kitchen, and that was the only real downside... More

This unit was spacious and very up to date. Loved the tile in the main areas and the cubicles in the foyer to put all of your ski "stuff". Within walking distance to the gondola and all of the shops and restaurants in River Run. There is a ski locker on the main floor, a hot tub and pool tables.... More

Of the properties by River Run condominiums this (Buffalo Lodge) is the furthest (most far) from the gondola/slopes. Each unit js individually owned, so appearance and quality may vary. It does NOT provide housekeeping nor cleaning services. The guest coin laundry was out of service for about two days, which was highly inconvenient. The property is ok, cozy, but needs... More

I spent a total of 7 nights during the months of september and october 2015 at the Buffalo Lodge unit 8329 managed by Summit County Mountain Retreats. The place is nice, well equipped and the service offered by Summit County Mountain Retreats very good. During my second stay I had a small problem and I really appreciated the kindness and... More

We booked the place for one night on our way to our final destination. The place is sort of clean but very outdated and dingy (see photos). We got a 2/2 with out kids. The space was great. With enough living space for everybody. But the condo layout is strange especially the master bath. The way to the balcony is... More

We stayed in Buffalo Lodge unit 8432 and it was nice 1 bedroom, 1 bath corner unit with lots of natural light. From our balcony we could see River Run on the mountain and part of the village which made for a nice view each day. The unit had a nice simple kitchen and the bathroom was large but not... More

Best view,we stayed on the 5th floor and got to everything that was going on. The staff was very helpful, we stayed in a fully furnished suite complete with fireplace. Place was clean as well. The only thing we had to do was do some light cleaning before we checked out but that was no big deal. Oh, and the... More

Stayed in condo #8375 and it was the best condo in the lodge. Updated furnishings, modern kitchen, and a large balcony that provides an unobstructed view of the mountain and the village. Perfect location, easily accessible to everything in the village. Nice recreation area in the main lodge with TV, fireplace, hot tubs, and pool tables.

“River Run Village was right where the gondola picks up to go up the mountain and has everything you need for your ski weekend.”

“This condo was a decent size-not huge. There is no complimentary maid service so keep that in mind and you do need to take your own trash out. Also , the skating rink is right out side the window (we were in #8422) , which can get a bit noisy during the day .”
