I would stay here again and again if I could, just felt like home. I will definitely be coming back here next summer. I kinda like the remoteness, and everything was very clean. Definitely a great place to stay in Lake City.

My wife and I were traveling from Colorado Springs to Albuquerque and we wanted to take a scenic route and revisit places we had been to years ago. This included a route through the mountains of Central Colorado, the Silver Thread Highway, which travels through Lake City. There is simply no more beautiful drive than this in all of the...

Thanks for your kind review. We want all of our guests to feel at home here. In fact, hanging out with our guests is my favorite thing about being a lodge owner. I hope you have a chance to come back so we can continue our conversation...and maybe see some shooting stars in the clear mountain sky.

We were very happy to find a dog friendly place in Lake City. There is a large community deck with fire pits, seating areas and a great view of the town. There are rooms that are right off that deck so if want more privacy I would recommend getting a room at the other end of the building. We stayed...

Pleasant surprise. Terrific view overlooking mountains and north side of town and river. Short but rough road coming in and parking awkward but hospitality and deck amenities worth it. Dog friendly. Complimentary wine and beer and nice deck with fire pits for communal gathering.

The room was decorated very well. The bed and linens were so comfortable that I didn't want to get up. Free wine and cheese out on the deck. Only negative is the very very thin walls; I could hear everything that the people in the next room said. One other comment -- it is hard to find the "office" that...

With four kids, I am always thrilled when we find lodging in one room instead of two. The Mountain Biking room was clean and fun for my family. We appreciated having a microwave too. The owners and staff were so friendly and helped us find a spot to park our trailer and ORV's. Since it rained nearly our entire stay,...

We love having kids stay with us. Thanks for your review. Sorry it was raining while you were here. When have children staying with us we try to have somemores nights; where we light up a campfire, roast marshmallows, and put them on a slab of chocolate between a couple of graham crackers. Please come back so we can do...

Went to Lake City to climb 14ers and stayed here. The room was spacious, very clean with cute appointments. We were very pleased. The owner came o our room and talked to us about dining options which was very helpful. We would be very happy to stay here again on our next trip to this beautiful little town.

We had a short notice stay at the inn. The owners were very wonderful. He called me back right away after noticing he missed a call. We stayed in the Aspen room and I would always stay again, it had a gorgeous view and a 4 post comfortable bed. The host are both very respectful and attentive to needs. The...

Don't Get the Slummgullion Room. On demand hot water heater for five units in the room is very loud loud loud. The room is expensive. No discount for the racket. The owners messed up my reservation. I would not return.

We do regret that your expectations of an enjoyable stay at the North Face Lodge were unmet. Your preference for a different room led to your leaving prior to staying in the Slumgullion room which was named in your confirmation email. If another room had been available we would have gladly offered it to you. However, the room you preferred...

I needed a room over the 4th of July weekend (2016) and when I started calling around, it appeared that I was going to be out of luck. But when I called North Face Lodge, the friendly owner explained to me that they were indeed booked for the days I needed ... BUT she had an option for me. Seems...
