We stayed here on our way to Scotland and we were really pleased with the whole package. The location was easy to find and very beautiful. The property is well maintained and clean. The room ( twin room ) was cozy and comfortable, with an amazing en suite. You have your own entrance so didn't feel like you were disturbing...

My wife and I have stayed with Lynette several times. We always have a wonderful welcome and the accommodation and breakfast never disappoint. We would never think of staying anywhere else when visiting the area and recommend you should pay her a visit as soon as possible !!

I recently stayed at Hollyside Lodge, Lynette was very welcoming and friendly! Rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. My full English breakfast in the morning was so tasty! Would defiantly stay here again! It's in a great location as well!

I stayed at Hollyside Lodge in July 2013 on my cycle ride from Land's End to John O'Groats. The room was very clean and comfortable with some nice design details and with a private entrance which was nice. Breakfast was excellent. Good pub next door for evening meals.

The beds and bedding are of...

Stayed with Lynne for one night on a trip down from Scotland. Accommodation was great - spotlessly clean and very, very comfortable. Enormous breakfast served in the room and very nice pub next door for dinner. Will definitely be staying again

Excellent hostess, wonderful breakfast served in room, very high standard of cleanliness and bed linen etc. Good base for visiting lakes and Gretna Green (20 mins) for the more adventurous! Parking on site and ground floor rooms so suitable for less mobile. Highly recommended.

A very comfortable room and really friendly, attentive service. Nothing was too much trouble. The Lowther Arms is a lovely pub nearby for evening meals. There's a great choice of options for breakfast in the morning.
