Rented a nice condo for ski weekend. Bathroom was stocked with towels and soap but no shampoo. Asked at mgt office about buying some from them and was told, "This is not a motel, you can drive down to the RV park and buy some at their convenience store." Really?! $250 a night and not only no basic convenience but...

I sincerely apologize for the inappropriate response from our front desk personnel. In an effort to avoid this type of situation in the future, we will provide complimentary shampoo and conditioner at our front desk. Thank you for your review so that we can improve our services.

The folks at Goldenwoods took amazing care of us. We arrived about 2 hours after the office closed and I was concerned that we wouldn't be able to access our condo. When we arrived there was a note on the door with explicit instructions about how to get our keys and access the unit. Everyone was extremely helpful and kind....

We had a great time, it is a very nice place to visit, it is out in the middle of no where, but its great. My son had a blast skiing he didn't want to leave! The condos are nice and roomy, it took a few hours to get the place warmed up, but we finally figured it out. The...

Apart from a lengthy drive from Denver, especially if there are any weather issues, this is a PERFECT family ski resort! Not too commercialized, condos are VERY nice & short walk from lifts, good variety of trails for all levels of skiers, and we had GREAT snow in December! Some say that snow gets questionable for Spring. Day Lodge was...

We exchanged through RCI. Older complex (1980's) but very comfortable. Complex is not handicapped accessible. Shower is dual hot tub with the shower head coming out of ceiling. Easy for young folks to get in but can be challenging for a senior climbing in and out with wet feet. Entrances have stairs to various levels. We came in August, which...

Thank you for your review! If you visit us in the future, we are happy to help place you in a condominium with a different style shower set up that doesn't include the Jacuzzi style tub for easier access.

Have just spent a lovely week here and have appreciated the quietness of the resort. The rooms sre a bit outdated but are adequate for the type of resort this is, i imagine it would be very busy in the winter with skiing and other winter sports. Poederhorn chairligt is open on the weekends and mountain bike riders use it...

Enjoyed stay. Area was really nice to explore. Accommodations were a little out dated but overall nice. Only things we found that could be better was the dryer was totally worthless (1-A) and could use a few more useful utinsels in the kitchen. Otherwise it was a perfect week.

Our first visit. We found the condos to be well maintained and attractively appointed. They were very well equipped in the kitchen Perhaps not the top of the line condominium complex but very nice and located at the base of the Powderhorn ski area. Our visist was in the summer and they were busy but not full. Every window could...

Summary Goldenwoods at Powderhorn is a quiet, remote resort with one great advantage – a small but challenging ski area right next to it. We visited specifically in order to ski Powderhorn, a small (1,200 vertical feet, three lifts) area with numerous challenging runs about 35 miles east of Grand Junction, Colorado. The condos themselves (at least, the units available...

This is just about the only game in town. The ski resort has hotel rooms but for condos, this is what there is. Goldenwood doesn't offer online reservations (amazing in 2016!) and doesn't seem to care much about occupancy. It seems they're part of the RCI vacation property group and get most of their business that way. The unit we...

We apologize you did not have a positive experience with us. We do have reservations online with RCI.com if you would find that necessary in the future. Our property has being undergoing extensive room reservations for the past two years and will continue to renovated during our 2016-2017 season. We wish you safe and happy travels in your future!
