Long story short, my wife and I helped my cousin and his wife move from Anchorage, AK to Colorado Springs by driving vehicles for them, one being a small RV. My cousin then let us use the RV to explore Colorado, That's how we came to this KOA. I found it to be quite nice with well maintained tree lawns...

We stayed in our 24 ft travel trailer for a family reunion.. Staff was great, nice clean showers/restrooms, pool/ BbQ area was great!! Campground was VERY full, sites are closer together than what we are used to,but it didn't seem to matter much, it was always nice and quiet.. We would definitely stay again for sure!!

This is a nice little KOA. They have the bases covered with a nice pool, hot tub, clean showers/bathrooms and large well-maintained sites. The staff is friendly and the location is close to the nice Main Street of Montrose while also being on the edge of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. You won't find the frills of...

We stayed here for the Fourth of July weekend. I stay in KOA's all the time. Never, had my family or I been treated so poorly in our life. There was a misunderstanding with my reservation and I owed the KOA 20 dollars. The Manager Debbie Threvithick very rudely came to our site to accuse us of wanting to not...

There is no night time security and we had several teens parking and scoping out cars. They tell you you need a code for laundry and bathrooms but they were not even locked. It was not very quite either, our space was very close to a storage facility were people were coming and going all day. They also came to...

The campsites and facilities very clean. The hot tub and pool was a great addition and was cleaned each day. The laundry facilities were clean and cheap. There was a pet walk but there was limited grass. Would have been better if there was a fenced in area for pets to run. Also need to know there are no campfire...

We stayed there 4 nights and found it clean, safe, attractive and well-managed. After staying in 50+campgrounds in the past year, we would not hesitate to return here and we would recommend it. The surrounding neighborhood is less than picturesque, so, not 5 points. WiFi worked well, shady sites set well apart.

Came through Gunnison in the middle of the night and nowhere to camp, even all the hotels were booked. Drove into Montrose in the dark and saw that gorgeous KOA sign lit up. Pulled in, picked out a spot, left money in the overnight slot, pulled thru, plugged in....lights out! OMG. Easy and pie and quiet. Right off main drag...

My husband and I tent camped here for 3 nights. Upon arrival, we were told that the sites were not assigned, and to pick a spot on the open grassy area. We got to the area, and not only was there very little parking, but it was right next door to a private property that had "Beware of Dog" and...

We stayed here last year and just spent another 4 nights with a 30 foot travel trailer. The place is in pristine shape. Manager, Debbie, is very helpful and accommodating. Her husband helped us with several issues we were having with our RV. He is knowledgable and willing to share his knowledge which we really appreciated. I hope the new...
