Here is a place to find whatever you are in need of. If you detach and listen and BE in the here and now - practice mediation, yoga, pranayama, eat organic vegetarian...if ever you could connect, this spot facilitates that. Go and be open to the beauty and the mystery.

I am not a yogi but I practice yoga. This place is an experience. If you are looking for solitude, friendly hosts, great food, amazing surroundings, contemplative activities, yoga and meditation then this is the place for you.

First of all, I am already planning my trip back! I went alone and raved about it enough for my friends to want to come next time. This isn't exactly the kind of place you go to just to sleep and head somewhere else during the day. You'd be doing yourself a huge disservice by missing out on the food,...

Stayed 5 nights in August, generally it's hot but one morning was 0 Celcius so always bring your warm clothes. I got there by bus from Denver to Boulder, then Boulder to Nederland and they will pick you up from Nederland coach station. Stayed in a dorm of 2 bed but I was by myself throughout my stay. Shared showers...

First off, Shoshoni is a yoga retreat, training center and Ashram--not a hotel so it is best to keep that in mind. If you are looking for nightlife and drinking and bright lights--this is probably not the place for you. If you want peace and quiet among beautiful settings and wonderful, kind people book a trip to Shoshoni. I planned...

Shoshini yoga retreat is a place to go to reflect, pray and nurture your soul. The yogis who live there are all very welcoming while at the same time are very respectful of your space and personal journey, whatever that may be. The yoga classes are Hatha style and of light to medium intensity and the mediation practice, from the...

I live in Denver and in a moment of needing to get away, googled yoga retreats in Colorado instead of having to throw down thousands to go to a place like Tulum. I feel so fortunate to have found this place. The food is fantastic, vegetarian, but beautifully spiced, and I always eat every bite and feel fully satiated. It's...

About five years ago, I missed a flight at DIA and was reeling from disappointment, when a friend suggested I should treat myself to a one day retreat at Shoshoni, and I am forever grateful I took her advice! I have been to Shoshoni on numerous occasions, either on my own for a yoga retreat or with my family for...

I recently stayed at Shoshoni for a a family oriented weekend retreat. This place is conveniently located just outside of Nederland, but far enough away to provide a secluded mountain experience. The setting is absolutely gorgeous, with a beautiful view of sleeping giant mountain and a lake. The cabin we stayed in was big enough for our family of four,...

I have been visiting Shoshoni for over a decade now and each time it just gets better. I currently live in Thailand, but make a point to include a trip here on my visits back to the United States. This is an incredibly special place, the likes of which are exceptionally rare compared to most other places I have visited...
