The hotel itself was very neat! It's an old stage-coach stop that they turned into a hotel. My husband and I stayed for one night on our way through to Loveland. It's definitely an OLD building. The stairs feel a bit uneven going up and down. They're steep and the banister was a little wobbly while we were there, so...

The only spirit in this place is the Holy Ghost. I had an overnight stay. They had ample parking for a garbage truck. They place was clean and fresh. I had a nice rest from a long hard day. The nice American people who own this place are God fearing and Great Americans. The place is really peaceful and quite....

We stayed at the Stage Stop Hotel on a Friday evening. I think we were the only guests, each taking a single room, with a queen size bed. The hotel is an old stage stop that was converted a very long time ago, the updates were also done a very long time ago, although not long enough to reinforce the...

Coming back through to Oklahoma from Colorado Springs and were tired. Found this place to stay. I love history and this place was like stepping back in time. It was one of the best little hotels I have ever stayed in. Our room had the old oak floors, we slept with the window open and listened to the train...it was...

My sister and I spent the night there on Oct. 21, 2014. Cherry was the name of the lady who runs it. She told us all about the history of the hotel and had photo albums full of information. We loved the hotel. It was very clean and just made you feel like you were at Grandma's house when you...

Nice place to stay for a night. It is not what most motels look like. Room was clean, bed fresh and comfortable. Wooden floors with nice rugs. This is like stepping back in time. It is worth the experience and a part of Co History. Owner very pleasant and caring. Reasonable and safe

Was pleasantly surprised to find a wonderful place to stay. I was a bit worried when I heard the price for I didn't want to stay in a dump. The Stage Stop Hotel is no dump! The bed was great and it looked as though the mattress and linens were new. Coffee is available 24/7. The owner lives on the...

Lots of history and a very helpful owner/operator. Everything is clean but a bit dated, which adds to the character. Right on main street so semi noise can be an issue in the evening as the drive through town. Overall a cool place to stay on your way through Springfield with friendly service.

I felt like I had been dropped in a country western movie. I kept waiting for some cowboy to pass me in the hall. Very nice owner who makes sure that her guest are comfortable. The rooms are very plain with a mix of older furniture. There was a flat screen TV, a small fridge and free internet. Room 22...

Sweet place to visit for time off, rustic old hotel Downtown very quiet, friendly staff, clean, great beds, and ( my favorite) creeky wood floors, comfy beds, older bathroom and shower, but was clean, great new t.v., great old western feeling, even when I was coming in the place with my bags the lady that checked us in opened the...

“If you have issues with stairs, you need to state this up front. There is a very steep flight and there is no elevator. There are rooms on the first floor.”
