My husband and I stayed in Cabin 2 for one night in June. There was one bed that sleeps 2. The cabin has been newly renovated. The windows were new so there were no worries about bugs getting in at night. It had a small kitchenette with a sink, frig, microwave, coffeemaker with regular and decaf coffee, dish soap, paper...

Cozy, spotless and darling cabin we stayed in. Very rustic feel just like I imagined it would be maybe 50 years or more ago. Electric heat kept us warm and comfortable during the cool night. The bed and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud; in fact, one of the most comfortable beds I have EVER slept on. These cabins...

There are both cabins and a cottage available at Windspirit -- this review is of the terrific cottage. First, staying here is like having your own cottage in a remote Colorado mountain. It feels just like a get-away-from-it-all hideaway home -- and a very large and nicely appointed one, too. There's a large and nice kitchen, two reclining chairs, a...

My friend and I were looking for a dog-friendly, quiet place to spend the New Year holiday snowshoeing and hiking. Windspirit was the perfect place. The cabins and cottage are clean and lovely, the location was convenient, and the owners friendly and accommodating. We're already talking about planning a return trip with more people. I loved this place and would...

My boyfriend and I stayed a couple nights at Windspirit, and we felt like it was a great location with comfortable accommodations at a reasonable price. There was a mix-up with the cabins when we first arrived, but Lowell sorted it out for us and really made up for the inconvenience. The property is adorable, and I loved being able...

The cabins are cozy and warm, the small yard is relaxing, the view is stunning; just perfect for this small village atmosphere. Unlike most inexpensive accommodation in Colorado (think Super 8 Motels), this place has real charm and soul. Nevertheless, the most endearing part was Bruce, one of the owners, who made us feel completely special and looked after. Thanks...

Our family just stayed here for 5 days - checked in on Friday, left on Tues. When we arrived, the new owners were still finishing up a couple things on our newly renovated cabin, and felt terrible about asking us to give them 1 more hour to finish the work. We were more then happy to check out the town,...

We recently booked a cabin with Windspirit. The owners emailed us a few days before our reservation letting us know that our cabin renovations were not yet complete. They offered us the cottage at no extra cost! We arrived, and what a view!!! The cottage was clean, well-stocked, and had the most beautiful view!!! The general store next door provided...

I was blown away w/ the beautiful interior and décor of the main cottage. More than I expected. Full-amenities and more. Spacious kitchen area is included in the open-space living area that greets you upon entering the cottage.Washer-dryer a big plus, in addition to 2 full baths. We set the thermostat for 65', but I was cold the entire time,...
