We came in late the night we were staying here and expected (we'd called to let him know) a note on the door, but he was there to meet us. Our rooms were large and so was the attached bathroom. Breakfast the next morning was lovely, and Bruce was nice enough to tell us the

My daughter and I stayed at the Mansion Inn on a recent visit to Connecticut. We needed to be in downtown Hartford for most of our trip and, since we prefer to stay in B&Bs whenever possible, decided to try the Mansion Inn. We really liked this property. It was quite

I stayed at The Mansion Inn Bed and Breakfast November 27-29, 2015. This B&B is located in a very cute town with lots of history and the ability to jump on the highway and travel to other historic places or cities in the area. The Mansion Inn's Innkeeper Bruce is unique, in a

"WIFI does not work in the Ivy Room."
"The only disturbing element was the traffic outside in our front room, but this was more than compensated for by the inside."
"Any room looks fine. We had the Lilac Room. It has lovely views from all windows. The Inn was part of a family "estate" near-by the silk manufacturing building of the Cheney family, who had been in Manchester since the first grist-mill run by the family in the late 18th century."
"We stayed in the Rose room and it is huge!"
"The Rose Room was big and comfortable. Traffic was a bit noisy in the morning but all in all it was a good room with a porch and dressing room."
