We booked both cottages for a family holiday in August. It was the best holiday we could have wished for. Farmer Chris and Tracey were so welcoming and there was nothing that we needed to leave the farm for (except the beach). The cottages were beautiful, perfectly equipped and with views of the farm from all windows. All the children (young and old) loved spending time with the animals, especially the cheeky goat Balti, who we didn’t have room in the car to smuggle home. The pool was perfect for learning to swim and also those crazy moments of splash-fun. The highlight had to be cooking marshmallows in the wilderness area but to be honest everything we did on the farm was a firm favourite for somebody in our group. Definitely the holiday of a lifetime!!

We had a brilliant time staying on the farm with our 18 month and 3 month old boys! Farmer Chris was so patient and encouraging with the animal feeding which meant our son grew in confidence and capability, it is truly a hands on and up close experience. While we did get a few rainy days it didn’t stop the fun at all as we enjoyed the wilderness area, especially the mud kitchen. The farm is also perfectly positioned to explore, with lovely beaches and exmoor national park a short drive away. We visited Saunton sands and did the circular walk at Tarr Steps. Another highlight of the trip was eating freshly collected eggs for breakfast, the difference in colour and taste was astounding. The cottage had everything we needed for a young family and Tracy was very helpful in making sure we had the right bits - from baby bath to bouncer chair, high chairs etc. Thanks for a fabulous time and tiring our boys out so they slept and napped like a dream!

We have just come back from our stay at The North Bradbury Farm and I must say it exceeded our expectations. Our 21 month old son absolutely loved helping out Tracey and Chris with daily chores and enjoyed all the different play areas available on the farm. The farm, although fairly secluded and very peaceful, is well positioned with majority of tourist attractions and beautiful towns/ beaches/ villages located 30-60min drive away. There is so much to do! The cottage itself was spotless, well-equipped and very comfortable. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay for another week! We will be back!

We had a really great few days at North Bradbury Farm with our 19 month old son. It's such a perfect set up for kids - even very little ones - as there's so much to do on the farm and lots of stuff to see just a short car journey away. I was a bit worried that some of the activities might be wasted on him as he's so young but he loved seeing all the animals and getting involved in the feeding, especially the lambs. Tracey and Chris were also great at adapting some of the things so that he could experience them (like having a go at sitting on a pony, even though he's too young to ride one). One of the days we didn't even leave the farm as there were enough different play areas (little play ground, adventure play ground, mud kitchen and fairy garden) to keep him entertained all day. The baby monitor just about reached far enough for us to relax on a sun lounger in the picnic area whilst he was having his afternoon nap. Tracey and Chris were lovely hosts, very helpful throughout the booking process, and very diligent with their covid policies. All in all, a really brilliant family holiday and an incredible first farm experience for our son.

Had a brilliant holiday at North Bradbury Farm this September. We have a 1 year old and a 3 year old and it was their idea of heaven, especially after lockdown! Chris and Tracey could not have been more welcoming and put more effort into giving us a lovely holiday. Everything was absolutely immaculate and the kids also loved messing around in the mud kitchen and the stream. I can honestly say I thought my 3 year old was going to burst with pride when at the end of the week she got a prize for feeding the animals. We’ve had to feed a lot of toy sheep, goats and horses since we came home!

This is our 4th trip to North bradbury farm and we had a fab stay. I couldn't think of a better option during covid times than staying on the farm with its multitude of things to do and the reassurance that Tracey and Chris are on top of the hygiene and cleanliness. Activity wise there is masses on the farm: twice daily animal feeding, walks, fairy garden, pond dipping, adventure playground, horse riding, zip wiring, swimming pool, toddler play zone, older kid activities - camp fire, ping pong. Tracey and Chris are friendly and welcoming hosts. Off the farm tracey and Chris know local attractions that are off the beaten track to avoid crowds. And of course in quieter times you have beaches of North Devon, RHS Rosemoor, tarka trail, dartington Crystal etc etc! They obviously have done masses of research and make appropriate changes from hygiene and cleanliness. This is reassuring. All in all, a great stay. We'll be back.

What an amazing time we had, such a special place and Tracey and Chris made us so welcome. Our children (6 and 8) could not be dragged away from the farm nor pack enough into the day to exhaust all that was on offer. The twice daily rounds were such a highlight, learning so much about the animals and their personalities and habits (like Moo the pony who wants to break into the duck pen each time), the play areas are fantastic, we loved the campfire for our sausages and marshmallows, the pool was so warm and we loved seeing the sheep and goats peering in at us while we swam. Even the table tennis in the barn was made extra fun with Matey and Moo leaning over the partition to spectate. We slept so well in the amazingly comfy beds and came home laden with delicious home grown Bramley apples, delicious eggs collected by the children and a wonderful leg of lamb. The children and we haven’t stopped talking about our adventures since we got back and we can’t wait to make a return visit. Thank you, Tracey and Chris!

We are regular guests with Farmer Chris & Tracey, visit number 12 we think, and one of the many reasons we keep coming back is that we know we will all have a great week, and yet there is always something new to discover too. Tracey is a great host and always has ideas for something different to try as the children get older. Last year it was kayaking and stand up paddle boarding at Wimbole Lake, this year the favorite day out was a high speed RIB ride to see the wildlife from Ilfracombe. Back at the farm we felt really safe and Chris and Tracey were working very hard to minimize the Covid risks both within the accommodation and around the farm, as well as knowing where to go to get away from the crowds. We also enjoyed the delights of the heated outdoor pool and pony riding, as well as the daily feeding up with Farmer Chris which we never miss. The Beagle puppies arriving the day before we did was a bonus! Our eldest son is 13 now and he wants to come back again next year, and finger's crossed we will.

We had a wonderful week away staying at North Bradbury farm. We have been many times before and as usual there was so much fun to be had! The children (14 years and 12 years) loved feeding the animals in the morning and evenings, had lots of fun in the outside pool and on the zip wire, trampoline, new tyre swings and wishing tree. The children also did pony rides, table tennis and enjoyed playing with the puppies. There is so much to entertain us at the farm we could easily have stayed there for the whole time and stayed aother week! We did venture out and visited Crows point, Saunton beach, Rosemoor and South Molton market. There are lots of things to do nearby if you want to go out for day trips. Chris and Tracey are fantastic, amazing hosts and so friendly and kind. We have visited for many years and they feel like our friends. They have worked very hard to make sure everything was Covid safe and all the necessary guidance was in place which made us all feel very safe during our stay. We can't wait to go back soon!

This was our first visit to North Bradbury Farm Cottages and we could have not booked to go on a better UK holiday. During the uncertain times of Covid 19 there was not anything to be worried about here, Farmer Chris and Tracey put in alot of thought and effort for everyone to feel at ease. There is so much space around to enjoy. Our 2 children aged 6 and 3 loved feeding the animals and getting involved every morning and evening, having just one other family at the farm at the same time allows each child lots of time to handle, touch and feed each animal which is great. There is so much to do at the farm so you can spend your day on site and not worry about going out far, my children loved the wilderness area, toasting marshmallows on the fire, looking for tadpoles and playing with the mud kitchen. The pool is lovely and warm and the children loved having this to themselves too. Thank you for such a lovely week we're most certainly be back!
