This mansion has now become the Perantzada…1811 Hotel. Our decorators have revived it turning it into a great small boutique hotel. All great names of contemporary design, like Varner Panton, Tom Dixon, Ingo Mauer and Philip Stark are hosted here. One of my best stays in Greece!!! Super friendly staff, very attentive, friendly, open, kind, and always looking for ways to make our stay comfortable and even better. Antonios was AMAZING! Greeted us warmly at arrival and showed us around. We had difficulty with our rental car and he helped us to sort everything out (we needed a new battery). He bent over backwards to ensure that our stay was fabulous. The room was clean and the amenities top notch! Breakfast selections were awesome and the pool/view one of the best! If you get a chance to come to Ithaca, do yourself a favor and book this hotel!!

This place is a joy to stay in. The views are amazing, the breakfasts are tasty, the rooms (in our case a junior suite - just go for it) are spacious and welcoming, the pool is clean and well kept - but most of all the staff are wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble and their service is always with a smile and without any of the 'professional charm' that you sometimes get in such places. It's a 5 minute walk to the harbour front and eateries, trips and shops.

This is a Dimond of a find, passionate people about there hospitality again the attention to detail of your stay is above and beyond. It’s a small hotel rooms are amazing Views of Vathy harbour incredible. Super friendly people and a humbling place to stay This I could not be more positive about staying here. It’s a must do ! Food is amazing and beaches are so close. Don’t be put of about the ferry over to ithica from Kefolonia it makes the trip an adventure!!

We’ve just stayed for 4 nights at this wonderful hotel. The staff were really welcoming and attentive, the room was beautiful, and the stay very peaceful. Really enjoyed the breakfasts, especially the Greek yoghourt ( the best I’ve tasted), the melon and the wonderful array of cakes. This boutique hotel , which is made of of a number of connected buildings, has lots of little flourishes, including various installations, which give it a really individual feel; the polar opposite to an anonymous chain hotel. On a practical level, powerful air-con and Wi-Fi in the rooms, really good shower, comfy bed with really good pillows. Really high quality towels , and lovely robes. Also they provide pool, and beach towels, for day trips out to the many wonderful beaches We stayed in the room called Tulip, which meant lots of flights of stairs, but a fab view of the town. We loved Ithaca, and will definitely be returning, ideally to this hotel!…

This hotel was a beautiful stop on our tour of Greece. My family and I were here and the staff was absolutely wonderful. Antonio brought us breakfast the night before our departure because we had to leave before the breakfast was open. Katerina and Antonio also invited my family for a welcome drink by the pool, which was a lovely way to start our Ithaki experience. We also had a little issue with needing an extra bed, and Katerina accommodated us with such grace and hospitality. They also had great recommendations for restaurants. The hotel is very stylish and well curated, and the pool is the best place to watch the sunset. I would visit Ithaki again just to stay at this hotel. Thank you Perantzada!

A perfect couple of nights stay at this really special little hotel set overlooking the bay in Vathi. The room was small, but beautiful with an extremely comfortable bed, the breakfast was delicious with a great choice. The staff, led by Antonio could not have been nicer or more welcoming. I stayed in the Pink room for five nights. PROS -- Good communication prior to trip. I told them what I was looking for, and they recommended the Pink room, which was perfect for me. They were quick to respond re: credit cards, where to park, contact info, etc. - The car ferry from Kefalonia couldn't be easier. The drive to Vathi/Vathy is easy. Parking in front of the hotel is straightforward - The managers, Antonio and Katerina, are awesome. Antonio is always available, and quick to help. Katerina was extremely welcome, and an excellent source of advice. Both knew everyone, and could book any service on the island with a quick phone call - Mirtsa is a valuable employee, pleasant to interact with quick to assist - The housekeeping staff was on top of everything: always fresh towels, toiletries restocked, etc. - I loved the room they gave me. I spent a lot of time on my deck, which provided an excellent (shaded) view of the bay. The room is pretty small, but the ceiling is high, so it felt cosy rather than confining - Welcome and departing gifts. (I pretty much drank the entire bottle of rose in one sitting) - Canopy beds, Nespresso machine, Korres bath products, hot shower, safe, quiet refrigerator - Fresh air from the windows and door - I enjoyed the property's aesthetic. It's curated by someone with a good sense of design and decor. The art was done tastefully - Vathi/Vathy is the perfect city. Nice shops and restaurants (reasonably-priced). Good people watching. Easy to navigate. Attractive and photogenic - So many activities to choose from, including walks along country roads, kayaking/snorkeling (I was happy with Odyssey), ebiking (the highlight of the trip) (Alpha Bike and Car Rental) to charming/chic Kioni, and driving to the monastery and church at the top of the island. The citizens take good care of their cats - Excellent WiFi. They have two modems, so it's available from your room as well as the restaurant/pool CONS - I had to tape up towels at the door and window to prevent the light from the deck and walkway from seeping into my room…
