We stayed her with our 2 children (2 and 4 years old) for 4 nights and wish we had longer. We loved our stay. Very easy to reach from Chu Lai airport with taxi taking less than 30 mins to reach ferry dock. Speed boat...More
My partner and I wanted to escape the hustle bustle of Hoi An and quickly. This resort was a quick hop away and we had it to ourselves more or less. The bungalows and there surroundings are very beautiful (especially the bathroom!). It was great...More
We were disappointed with our stay for several reasons. Firstly, we planned our entire trip around being at Tam Hai on a specific date for a moonlight festival. We were under the impression from a travel guide that this moonlight festival was happening on the...More

This is the ideal spot for a quiet relaxing break. We were picked up from Hoi An and had an easy 1.5hr drive to a small ferry point where a speed boat took us to the hotel's landing point on the island. It is the...More
Generally, we've found that we aren't all that keen on the 'resorts' that many of our friends and family like, as we generally don't do 'glitz' and we prefer places where we can 'do our own thing'. Our son, however, persuaded us to come to...More

Hi Wendy, Forgive me for replying I got an email from Trip Advisor asking me to look and answer if I could.. We visited in Feb 2015. The pool is medium size, however it is a very quiet resort so its pretty likely there will only be 4 or so people around the pool. There are good sunbeds and you are right next to the bar, so it is all just fine. Great views as well.
The food is all cooked by a local Vietnamese cook who lives in the village close by. They have a good choice on nice menu, its not massive, but that is due to location. But we stayed 4 nights and had something different every evening. So the style is like all vietnamese cooking, it is fresh, mainly chicken, beef and fish. Hard to fault Oh and the Breakfast is fantastic, you can choose vietnamese or English, we did go for English and we just couldn't change it was so good, the best we have had in Vietnam, easily
We loved our 4 days here, and the Villas are brilliant. We would certainly go back again if we in this area again. If you have any other question please fire away.
i also wrote this on my website, which I am not allowed to link! Its Vietnamonholiday com and it is the 2nd entry down.. I have just noticed there is a picture of the swimming pool on there as well. My wife is in red and I am behind her with hat and sunglasses on. It is the friendliest Island in the world, I am sure about that, it is amazing so try and find time to go out if you can because, everyone, but everyone, will say hello.
