One overnight at the charming Orchard Street Inn was enough to recharge us for the rest of the season! Delightful town of Stonington offered good food and lodging after a picturesque day at Mystic Seaport. Host, Dick, promised we would be pleased with our accommodations and we were! A quiet, private little bungalow with chintz couch and very comfortable bed....

We enjoyed our last evening of a long weekend at the delightful, conveniently located Orchard Street Inn. The cheerful Primula room was decorated in soft yellow and several windows afforded plenty of natural light with views of the well landscaped yard. The host Dick prepared a tasty breakfast the next morning that was served outside on a shaded deck. We...

I don’t usually write reviews, but I’m making an exception because, well, this inn is exceptional. I stayed at the Orchard Street Inn over Mother’s Day weekend; my two adult children joined me from Manhattan, and they loved it as much as I did. The grounds are picturesque; the bedrooms are elegantly decorated, spacious yet cozy and quaint, as well...

We spent the weekend at this Inn in Stonington with our family. We booked the entire Inn for our 2 adult children, their families (6 children), my brother and wife and us. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfasts delicious! Dick even served our grandchildren an early breakfast before the appointed hour. The common spaces provided areas for all of...

We were looking for a place to stay the night in Stonington and came across this adorable Inn. We had a beautifully decorated, well stocked and very clean room. Our favorite part was being able to sit outside our room on the deck furniture and have our own cocktails and appetizers that we brought ourselves. We enjoyed the magnificent gardens...

We stayed at the Inn with some good friends (4 couples) during an extremely cold winter weekend. We really enjoyed ourselves, the Inn is beautiful, the rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. We stayed in Saturday night and enjoyed the fire place with good drinks in a great atmosphere. Dick is a great host and the breakfast in the morning...

Planned a last-minute getaway to Stonington, and selected Orchard Street Inn as our place to stay. The Innkeeper Dick asked that we let him know when we'd arrive, which we did, and then he met us, gave us a quick tour of our place, and then offered a few ideas of things to do. We were glad that he gave...

We've been coming here for our anniversary annually in October for at least the past 10 years. Dick is a great host, both at breakfast and in taking care of every last detail of hospitality. The location is on a quiet side street in Stonington, but only a 5-10 minute walk will take you to any corner of the Borough,...

The Orchard Street Inn a a little gem tucked back off the main street in charming Stonington Borough. We came for a wedding at SHYC and stayed on a Saturday night. Our event was at 4:00 and check-in is late.. not until 3:00 - but when I called at 11:45, the innkeeper, Dick, let me know that the housekeeper was...

My son was attending a wedding in (GORGEOUS) Watch Hill, Rhode Island, and I couldn't afford to stay at the two hotels there, so I went online to try to find something close by. It was the labor day weekend, and everything I checked was booked. Finally found the Orchard Street Inn in nearby Stonington, Connecticut. The only room left...
