My husband and I spent a night at the Stonington Inn recently and can't say enough positive things! The room was exactly as pictured (Room 1) and very nice. I think next time I would choose a 2nd floor room because you can hear people...More
My wife and I stayed overnight in the Inn at Stonington for Thanksgiving, while visiting my sister. Everything about the experience was pleasant. The room was nice, the location was convenient for us, the continental breakfast buffet was great (we didn't need much after a...More
After a week in New York, the Inn was an oasis of charm and calm. Our room was beautifully and tastefully decorated, with a large, modern, well-appointed bathroom. Sitting on the deck in the evening with our complimentary cheese and wine was a delight. Our...More

The hotel, setting and town are wonderful. What gave it the 'special touch' was the friendly, attentive and resourceful staff. I organized a birthday weekend for my twin sister and myself. Joining us were my partner and my older sister and her husband

They also serve fresh fruit. We had plenty to eat but we don't do big breakfasts. Parking is shared behind the inn with the restaurant. One night we came back from a day trip and the parking lot was full so we had to do street parking and move our car later in the evening. Too bad they don't have designated spots close to the inn. There is a very large parking lot next door but it is reserved for condos and you may get towed. Noah's was very good. So is Dog Watch and the new Dog Watch BBQ on the way to Mystic. Breakwater restaurant behind the inn is very good too. They had my favorite lobster roll. The inside is beautiful and you can eat outside and enjoy the water too. Can't eat outside at Dog Watch which is too bad.
