Maggie and Bob have meticulously updated their historic farm and house into a beautiful setting for relaxation. Each bedroom includes its own modern bathroom -which is for me a must-have. The inn hosts weddings and other events in the beautifully restored barn. I highly recommend this for a stay with your family, a get-away with friends, or as a memorable...

The highly complimentary reviews we read before while planning our journey were right. This is a lovely, picturesque spot. We were already able to admire the changing colours of the trees from this beautiful house. We had a warm welcome from Maggie and Bob and felt very much at ease. The relaxing atmosphere was a great palliative after a few...

Maggie and Bob are the perfect hosts, they welcome you into their home and make sure you are comfortable. Great large room with a view of the hills. Many items to pick from for breakfast, from cereal to fruit, muffins, etc. The barn is amazing and the grounds are so pretty. We highly recommend this Inn.

We used the barn and setting for Jack & Jill party for our son and his bride to be. It was a beautiful day topped off with an amazing sunset. Maggie and Bob were very accommodating and they offered helpful advise and made us feel welcomed to use the property freely. The Inn at Mt Pleasant is a magical place...

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at The Inn at Mount Pleasant, which is in the rolling hills to the west of Torrington, CT. The innkeepers, Bob and Maggie, are delightful, and the room was warm and cozy on a cold winter's night. I would highly recommend the Inn at Mount Pleasant for those who want to escape...

Owner Bob told me over the phone, "You'll never want to leave," when I told him I had never been to the Inn at Mt. Pleasant. And he was right. Hosts Maggie and Bob are warm and welcoming, and their inn is tidy and comfy. Looking forward to my next visit!

This is a bed and breakfast on a lovely property that was once a farm. It is situated for an unexpectedly beautiful view and we enjoyed it fully on a sunny day in early October. The owners are engaging hosts who know the value of what they are offering. That said, I agree that it is priced for NYC, Western...
