My husband and I never write reviews unless we really love a place, and we loved this place. The best bread and breakfasts are not based on access to cable tv and personal jacuzzi access but by the personality and environment created by the owner. Laurie is warm, friendly, genuinely caring, flexible and eager to meet any unique needs to...

We stayed here in two rooms for 5 days. The home is beautifully furnished and decorated. Negative is only rooms with tvs have no cable in them. You just share the only tv with cable in the main room for all guests. Service was excellent. The owner lives on site and is very friendly and attentive. She made a point...

Stayed here in October and it was a great little local B&B. The location was perfect and everyone was extremely friendly. If you are looking for the quintessential B&B experience, you should go out of your way to stay here.

Staying here is like staying with family, but without the stress. Laurie is cheerful and engaging. Her breakfasts take place in a relaxed atmosphere with fluffy scrambled eggs or cheese-filled omelets made to order. Attentive without being intrusive, she is the perfect host in the hospitality business. The Torringford Manor B&B is now our first choice of accommodations for our...

Lovely quiet BnB in a gorgeous period house. Each room is individually styled in tasteful period furniture. Laurie goes out of her way to make you feel at home... Nothing is too much trouble. Only negative for us was the shared bathroom. Overall great place.

Beautifully appointed and laid out 1902 classic home, with a charming and talented innkeeper. She handled the loss of her 1954 (wow, they don't make'em like that anymore!) water heater quickly and confidently, and are guaranteed to have plenty of hot water for years to come! Laurie even bought our favorite style of bacon for a delicious hot breakfast made...

What a beautiful place. Completely renovated with appropriate and beautiful décor. You will be very impressed and satisfied with your stay. My wife was very happy with the cleanliness as well. Owners are very friendly and welcoming. Nothing like it compares in Torrington or the surrounding area. DO NOT stay anywhere else.

We stayed overnight in this delightful B&B in Torrington. Beautifully appointed rooms, charming and very comfortable. Some rooms share a bath which was the only downside to our visit. Lovely wide porch to curl up with a good book or watch the sun setting. Breakfast was exceptional. Be sure to check out the Saybrook Fish House while visiting the area...

The name is Torringford Manor B&B, not Torrington. The house is very nice, interestingly decorated, clean and quiet. It's also in a nice central location for this area of the state. A fairly short drive to Infinity concert hall, yet close to many stores. We stayed in the master suite, which was quite large. The Innkeeper, Laurie, is lovely. She...

Reasonably prices and the hostess, Laurie, is most accommodating! Breakfast is cooked to order and included several gluten-free options which was wonderful! I was in the master suite that had a large king sized bed, seating area in a charming bay window. A dressing area that connects the bedroom to the spacious bath. Not cramped at all. Lovely gardens surround...
