My wife and I decided at last minute to take an escape weekend. The B&B was terrific in terms of aesthetics, food and hospitality. Oy particular importance to us was it's proximity to restaurants, hiking, and points of interest. All were satisfied.....

I hope you will enjoy your stay at Sachem Farmhouse B&B as much as we did. The rooms were very comfortable as was the common room downstairs where you could enjoy a cuppa and read a good book. There is a lot history attached to the place which is very interesting. Breakfast was very tasty and our hosts were very... More

My husband and I stayed two nights at this B&B and I couldn't have been more impressed. The house itself is simply immaculate. It's super clean and warm and inviting. The antique furnishings and decor are a delight! The inn keepers Jason and Jennifer were so kind and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and these inn keepers have really... More

We had a very nice room on the first floor. And the next morning our breakfast was cooked and served by the owner in her kitchen. The waffles and maple syrup were so delicious I asked for the recipe and an address to order the maple syrup. Later in the summer we stayed at the farm where the maple syrup... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here the 3rd weekend in October. The New England Fall foliage was in its prime! The Sachem was the perfect place to stay and I would certainly recommend it. Jennifer is a lovely innkeeper... Very attentive and chatty without being too chatty. She was immensely helpful on suggesting hikes, towns to visit and restaurants. We... More

My husband and I stayed at this charming B&B this past weekend. We decided to take a quick gateway just before the start of the school year. We were very happy with the accommodations. The Inn is about 2 hour drive from Long Island. It sits on a beautiful mountain top with a great view of Lake Waramaug. Our room... More

I wanted to treat my girlfriend to a quiet weekend getaway for her birthday, and our stay at the Sachem Farmhouse was absolutely perfect. The room was amazing, the views of the lake and fall foliage were superb, and innkeepers Jennifer and Jason were incredibly warm and inviting. The entire stay was fantastic, and I know my girlfriend enjoyed herself... More

My husband I wanted a quick getaway before the summer was over. This B&B did the trick. The price was a little high, but we lucked out in that it was a week day and we had the Inn all to ourselves. The breakfast was good. The views of the lake were pristine and the proximity to the wineries and... More

We stayed here for a weekend and had a fantastic time. Very nice, very helpful, couple and the breakfast was very good. My only complaint was that the coffee was good but not great and I look forward to great coffee. Nothing a Nespresso machine could not remedy! That said I give them five stars; they deserve it. We will... More

I recently stayed at The Sachem Farmhouse, while traveling alone to CT. My room was meticulously clean, the bed amazingly comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious! I found that the owner, Jennifer, was so helpful by suggesting a little cafe for lunch and a couple cute local shops to explore. The B&B is situated directly across from a lovely lake.... More
