A wonderful place! Lovely, comfortable rooms and beds, generous breakfasts, peace, tranquility and genuine hospitality! Thank you. We stayed at Parsonage House for 4 nights as our "base" as we explored the Lake District - an excellent choice. We will be back!

The welcome, understanding and interest of the owners made this short wet break worth fighting the M6 traffic for.. Really enjoyed ourselves and breakfasts .. wow could not be beaten. Next time we'll stay for longer

The hot shower was very welcoming after a very wet day ( but this is the Lake District after all) with wonderful fluffy towels!!! we had an ample breakfast served in a lovely dining room...

This bnb is situated in a lovely setting with great views across the hills near lake Windermere. The house itself is quaint and well decorated but in a vintage but fresh way. As regards the rooms, we stayed in the red room and were very happy. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was modern and functional, and the view...

We couldn't have been happier with our stay. The beautiful house in its peaceful setting amidst the natural beauty of the Lake District made this the perfect base from which to explore. The rooms were beautifully and comfortably furnished and provided lovely views out over the fields. Breakfast was delicious and Steve and Jenny were perfect hosts. Absolutely perfect!

This was a smart, well maintained B&B just outside Ings. So it's a little way from Windermere, and quiet except for the traffic down the hill on the A591. The room was comfortable, with a good choice for breakfast. It was good value if you don't mind being away from the bustle of Windermere. Probably not so good for those...

I had a lovely stay at Parsonage house. The house is picturesque, being surrounded by sheep and beautiful scenery. The bedroom was fresh, clean and traditional - without having an old fashioned or stuffy feel about it. You can look forward to a comfy bed and a big fluffy duvet - heavenly! Steve and his lovely wife have managed to perfect...

There is a lounge which you can use where you can sit and plan your day. The owner was very helpful and allowed us to borrow maps and made suggestions for walks...

As you discover this place you know that you have arrived some where very special. Upon entry to the house you get the feeling that you are very privileged to be staying here. Our room was beautifully staged with a huge bed and period furniture and fittings, while the bathroom was modern and functional. Breakfast was fantastic with excellent ingredients....

Externally, Parsonage House is an impressive looking building, sitting as it does on raised ground at the end of a private driveway. Internally it is equally impressive. This is testament to the hard work of the owners, Jeni and Steve, who have restored the house to a fine condition, thus creating both a well appointed residence for guests and a...
