Boutique Hotel for me a least conjures up images of something a little cosy and artisanal. The staff of Theta are all charming and the building is finished to a high standard and very clean. But that is it! The walls inside are a drab brown, there is no art on the walls or apparent attempt to make it homely. It feels just very clinical. Even a few plants on the terrace would soften it. Also bfast is pretty dire with a diluted Orange cordial on offer for orange juice and the rest of the fayre on the budget side.The espresso coffee an extra.
So yes with a bit of work this really could be an “excellent” hotel but at the moment we felt it was objectively good . The views and location are perfect however.

Clean and very well maintained rooms and all hotel’s facilities, great swimming pool, the view from the rooms is breathtaking! Super fresh and tasty food served during the whole day.
Very kind, thoughtful and patient hotel team, doing their best making the guests feel like home with attention to small details. The hotel is very kids friendly, we were two families with 5 small children, the hotel staff made everything to make them happy. Also we received great recommendations for activities and amazing restaurants in the area.
We will definitely be back!

We stayed 8 nights at this excellent hotel...
Lovely boutique Hotel is located on the hill with magnificent sea view and with amazing staff which make the stay perfect !!! :-)
Themis, the manager is very friendly and helpful, help as to plan our trip.
The place have very nice sea view,clean room with super comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious
I can only say that this is the best hotel in Pelion

We have stayed in the hotel for 3 nights.
The hotel is new and spacious.
We got a room with a view and balcony to the gulf. ( On the first night)
The hotel is located inside the village and overlooks the sea ( in some of his rooms).
First night we could not sleep due to problems with Air Condition .
2nd night we slept good as we were moved to the other section of the hotel. ( other room with no balcony or view)
3rd night the AC worked at evening but was turned off at night. ( Woke up at 4:00 from the heat)
In a discussion we had with other guests we understood the owner is switching the AC from each building according to the complaints he gets.
Pros : Clean , new , practical room, great service from the staff
Cons : Air condition has problems ( I suggest you get a guarantee from owner to get full refund in case of failure).
The owner is very nice and cooperative ( even suggested to order new hotel for us )
I find this tactics problematic as he suggested the same to all customers which complained about the AC problem.
On the day we checked out he admitted that he is switching the AC between the buildings- from my point of view I think the problem is known and the owner sells the rooms with AC although he is aware of the fact the air condition cannot work to all guests!!!!
If you do not have any problems without Air condition I would recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed a week staying at the Theta Hotel! The service is perfect, nothing is too much for all of the staff! No matter if it comes for breakfast (at early hrs) or for giving information about where to go for a hike, trip to meteora, etc.
The hotel is very clean and has a very nice decor. The pool is big and beautiful with sea & mountain view. The hotel lies near a track in Ag Dimitrios, which means you have a shortcut going to Ag Ionanis and the luck that there is no traffic noise. It gives a lovely holiday feeling. About the other reviews about the hotel being tricky to find. There are signs from the main road, so isn't an issue.
Did I also mention the breakfast? Too good to be true! Also the snacks that are available are very tasteful. The best burgers, gyros and tzatziki we had in the past week!
It's about ten minutes drive to papa nero and 15 minutes to Tsagaranda (from where Fakistra and Milopotamos beach are easily reached).
Would definitely stay here again!

First of all I'd like to thank Theta hotel for their help I received during my stay due to an unfortunate personal situation. They behaved like true professionals and like they were family. The hotel is situated in a remote place so be extra careful how to get there but boy it's worth it! The views are breathtaking, the hotel is absolutely amazing and of course is located near to some of the best beaches of Pelion. Our short stay there was enough to appreciate the hotel and I would definitely return very soon.

It is worth the effort of navigating steep winding roads to get to this hotel. The welcome is warm, the rooms extremely comfortable and pthe views truly stunning. The pool and terrace area are extremely pleasant and the breakfast very good indeed. This has been added to our list of ‘favourite breakfast views of the world’!
The staff are extremely friendly and offer advice on the local area. The hotel is within easy driving distance of a pretty village with a number of good restaurants.
Offered as a comment to be useful for others booking, not as a criticism of the hotel in any way-when we were there, there were large extended family groups with children who tended to be noisy and dominate the public areas. Therefore though this hotel could be a wonderful romantic destination, when booking do so with an awareness of European school holidays.
That said, we had a great time and do not blame the hotel in any way.

A really amazing hotel, with a rare level of hospitality (Dimitris is the best!!!). Great rooms, clean and spacious, delicious food (breakfast and dinner), best tips for what to do on daily basis, and what a view 😜 Highly recommended for families traveling in the region.

Theta hotel is a special hotel located on the hill. It has beautiful large spaced rooms beautifuly decorated. We had a jaccuzi in our bathroom which was a nice surprise.
The pool is on a terrace with a lovely sea view.
Breakfast was great.
The staff was super nice and welcoming.

The place is a jewel hidden in Pelion mountines.
We stayed with our 2 children for 3 nights and enjoyed our vacation very much.
Breakfast is tasty with plenty of food and sweet treats.
