There was a last minute cancellation and we were able to get a spot tent camping on the Sandspur lot. The site was clean and although we were not on the water, we could hear the water all night long, as well as the traffic. The water was clear and we enjoyed biking, exploring the closed bridge, and the close...

We are work-campers. That means we travel around the country working for local, stat and federal places who give us free camping in exchange for us working a few hours a week. We are now stationed at Bahia Honda State Park for two months. This is a pristine park with excellent amenities. All the camp spots have a beautiful view...

We stayed here for two nights. We were very lucky to get a spot here as it is difficult and this was planned very last minute. The first night we were at spot 50. It was beautiful. The ocean in front of us and the sounds of lapping water lulling us to sleep at night. The next night we had...

We stayed there off season and were able to get a primitive spot right on the water. There was plenty of room for a tent or small trailer. Good bathroom, most everything worked well enough. Price was reasonable. August was super hot. The tide came in at night but still stayed twenty feet from our spot. The smell of the...

My family (me, wife, boy (7 year old) and girl (2 year old) stayed at the Campground this past Aug 2016. We stated in RV site #25. The park is nice and quiet. Nice grounds and the trails are also very nice. We stayed in our pop-up camper. We are beach people. The beaches in this park just like the...

This is my favorite campground. The campsites are close together, but each one has completely privacy due to very well-done hedges between. So, you can hear your neighbors, but you can't really see them. Most campsites are narrow, but deep, with plenty of space. Many campsites are water-front; I believe all of them are water-view! The bathrooms here are the...

Had a beautiful camping trip here. Beaches are not staged for bathers. They are naturally preserved and sea grass smell can be a bit much, but gorgeous and good snorkeling. We saw barracuda, crab, and coral, conch, parrot fish, baby shark, pelicans, cormorants, iguanas, egrets, sandhill cranes arriving for winter, sunset on bridge and great views of old Flagler railroad....

Booked a three night stay at the state park but had to checkout a day early due to too many factors. First and foremost, our site in the bayside is tiny, no electricity, the raccoons and the bugs are brutal. The bugs even came in through the tent wholes at night not allowing us to get any sleep. The beach...
