Room situated in a newly restored building across the square. Modern, quiet, comfortable room with balcony giving views over the hamlet and river. All meals served in the main building restaurant. Friendly welcome, efficient service, good meal choice.

We enjoyed an amazing 3 course lunch for €19 (excluding wine). We started with a huge plate (almost too big) of salade Caussenarde (including local cheese). Then we chose the trout which arrived with an assorted collection of vegetables that complemented the fish perfectly. Finally we had the chocolate fondant - again presented beautifully with fresh fruit and cream. I...

Why we chose this hotel We were looking for a hotel approximately half way between the Lot and the Ardeche and found this one on the Logis site. It looked fine for our purposes. First Impressions: The hotel is set at the beginning of the small hamlet and close to the edge of the River Tarn. It looked inviting and...

Our room was very small and quite basic but it had a lovely view from the window. The village is a good base for exploring the area, but you need a car. Meals at the auberge (in a separate building) were good quality, although the menu didn't vary much so we also tried the nearby bar on a couple of...

We arrived at this beautiful B&B with a little trepidation as we had read the mixed recent reviews. However everything we experienced was delightful. The rooms are distributed within the small hamlet, but this is of no inconvenience at all. Our two simple rooms were in two different locations, but both rooms were clean, tidy, well equipped and more than...

Our 5 nights at half-pension were an Excellent value. We had gorgeous views from our room in the annex- comfortable spacious & equipped with modern facilities. Chef prepared some of the best...

Near the delicious little town, the Tarn gorges are a dizzying succession of cliffs and chasms. if parts of the gorge are difficult to reach, the walk is easier at Saint-Chely-du-Tarn, a gem of a village at the centre of an ancient reclaimed meander . We were thrilled to get lodging here and what a cracker of a location for...

St Chely is a beautiful village in the Gorge du Tarn and we really loved our stay here. The rooms are large and well appointed and the location guarantees a tranquil stay. Staff and friendly and helpful. The restaurant is excellent and we enjoyed our breakfast, lunch and dinner. This hotel, although independently run, is part of the Logis network...

We were told that we would never get anywhere in the Tarn Gorge, France, booking last minute, as it was near the high season (very end of July). We looked online and found the website for this hotel and restaurant. The rooms were indeed mostly booked up but the cheapest basic twin bed room was available so we booked for...

We enjoyed our previous visit so much we made a stop over here on our way south through France, and what I said last time still holds true. The location is simply stunning, and despite being in the tourist season this time not overcrowded, quiet and enjoyable. Rooms are a bit quirky, but enhanced by a nightingale singing just outside...

“The better rooms have views over the Tarn itself but these are probably the more expensive ones. Most rooms will have some sort of view. We were happy with the top floor as no upstairs neighbours to make noise but the stairs were fairly steep.”
