Hurricane may have eliminated this favorite 2016 Throwback. Comfortable. Wonderful sunsets on the large covered porch with swings. Clean and quaint. Reminds me of the Florida Keys back in the 1970s. Could not be more Pet Friendly. Provided our dog with a dog biscuit and Faraway Dog collar upon arrival. Unfortunately we were on a short stay but enjoyed our... More

We stayed here a few times and rented the Captains Quarters. The owners are awesome as we arrived very late, but had our "Quarters" ready for us and our pup. We also met my mother up there and she had one of the smaller rooms. Perfect for her. The beach is a little rocky, but we enjoyed fishing from there.... More

We spent a weekend with friends, reserving two cabins and 1 efficiency. Six people total (older) with total of 4 dogs. What a pleasant little inn close to water. Our cabin was extremely clean, quite large and was ready when requested. There were large windows, so you had plenty of viewing area. For the cabins, parking is right at the... More

The Faraway Inn exceeded our expectations in every way. My husband and I were looking for a quiet and quaint, yet fun and relaxing place to get away from the real world. We were looking for somewhere "away from it all" where we could really relax for a few days, and we found it at the Faraway Inn.
