Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place is gross. The sheets had hair and black specks on them. I had to sleep on towels. There is no blanket only the bedspread for warmth. Ice has to be gotten from the office which is always locked. We would have left but we had an early cruise in the morning.

This is an older motel but very clean. The owners are so nice. The only downfall I s the noise. The motel is located near a heavily traveled highway and there are multiple trains nearby that are running all night long blowing their whistles. Bring your earplugs and you will be fine. There is no where around that you can find a better price, super nice owners and clean rooms.

This is my second stay here but last time I stayed nk problems but this time the owner charged us $85 rather than the advertised $65 and I asked if he sold soda in the office and he yelled at me. Then at 9:30 am he just opens my room door yelling checkout time when checkout is at 11 am. We were quiet and respectful the entire stay so I dont understand the poor alnost abusive treatment.

The price was very reasonable and the room was clean and had everything you would need for a stopover. The trains can be loud but nothing that earplugs can't fix. The check in went smoothly and quickly with the nice owner.

Room o. k. Clean. Staff helpful. Location terrible. Right on busy highway. Across the road from a train track. Trains tooting very loudly 24 hours. It is too bad. Price is very reasonable. No clock, phone, refrig., or microwave. Cannot recommend.

We were looking some place to stay as close as possible to Kenedy Space Center and we chose this place. It's only 30 minutes drive. No traffic jams in the morning. There is a gas station and some fast food restaurants around. The room was clean and there was refrigerator and micro wave machine so you can prepare some fast food. Nothing fancy but it we had all we need for 2 nights stay.

My son stayed 3 nite Jan 6,7,8, 2017. He had a 3rd shift job and told the lady in the office not to bother him he needed to sleep. She woke him up 3 times and would not leave him alone. He stayed the 3rd day and she was really rude about running another nite on his room key. The last day he had to check out at 11, he worked all nite and she's knocking on the door at 9am to see if he's checking out at 11. Really rudest person. Will never stay there again. Air condition was full of dirt and dust, was afraid to run it, mold in tub on grout. No no no. Terrible internet service too.

Prefect accommodations for people who can sleep from everything, else earplugs is certainly needed. The freight train tracks has a crossover on the other side of the street, which makes it use its horns, which is really loud. We did go but earplugs for the second night, and then there was no problem. The room it self is probably the most clean one I've seen. It was by all means perfect. Little table for breakfast or dinner, fridge, microwave, air condition, good madras etc.

I rented a room for one night because the big hotels were booked. The air conditioning went off at 2 am and no one was available to report it. i finally went to the entre at 06:50 am and knocked on the door. The proprietor told me he knew the power had been out. I requested a 25% refund and he would not do it. He gave me no receipt. I knew it was not a good idea. Live and learn, Do not stay here.
