These type of rare and unique Irish places are nowadays hard to find in Ireland. The Glann Bar and B&B has it all. Clean, friendly and quiet rooms and a short walk down the stairs for a tasty pint and good craic. Thanks for introducing me to the locals, Colette. I stayed in the Glann B&B for business but Colette...

Had a great stay in the Glan Bar B&B in November. My sisters and I had to find a B&B at last minute and found this treasure. We were welcomed by Colette and brought to our rooms which were very clean and comfortable. She had heated the place before our arrival so that we wound not be cold and she...

when we arrived --all be it late- the premises was securely locked up with two dobermanns roaming in the yard. We rang the owner who said she would be 5 minutes--she wasn't so we left. It wasn,t particularly inviting as we didn't fancy spending a night in a B& B with only dobermanns for company---and why were they needed????????

Normally I don't write any reviews, but said I would since I had a great experience, with friendly people and excellent service I couldn't have asked for a better place to be. I called at short notice, which wasn't a problem and checkout time was at our own leisure. I have to say the that the owner made us both...

Stayed while at a family party recently. Great fun. Nice food and rooms, pool table and the bar is open late ;) Owner is great fun and there will be a ballad session in the bar at some point. All of the rooms have a different theme and it is situated in a nice spot by the river.

Arrived late into Granard after a long day on the road. No room in the town thanks to a local Fete. After a few questions to locals phoned Collette at the Glan. She asked me to wait in the local bar - which I was happy to do! Seamus came down from the Glan to pick me up. Nice accommodation,...

Fine location, warm hospitality, and thoughtfully-designed rooms made for a great three-night stay at this immaculately clean B & B. Handsomely rebuilt a few years ago, the five bedrooms open off a hallway that leads to a communal kitchen/dining/living space designated for the guests. Our bed was very comfortable, and the spacious en suite bathroom contained the best shower we...
