So dated, although clean and a good shower. Air con so noisy. Neighbours who live there permanently not friendly. In a week the room was cleaned twice. Could not wait to leave the place although husband thought was alright. With hindsight, should have stayed in Holiday Inn in Naples 40 mins away and Everglades City during day. Everglades City is... We stayed one night while visiting the Everglades. Check in was straightforward and Diane recommended several restaurants but not the one next door. Our room was very clean and had recently been refurbished. The balcony was huge and screened with a view of the carpark. There are no breakfast facilities but we knew that when we booked so no problem.... More

Very basic lodging. Rooms at first ( ground) floor and second floor. Receptionist not really welcoming guests or pro active giving information. Price / quality: moderate. Free parking ( outside). Refreshments: vending machine. No breakfast. Fridge at the room, airco stand alone ( noise). Balcony overlooking parking or road.

Basic amenities. Not a very attractive motel, but satisfactory for a night's stay. We stayed there in preparation for a swamp tour the next morning.. Great restaurant nearby that is popular with the local fishermen.

good clean place, half the rooms have balconies which is as large as the room, half screened, nice for the smokers. Basic room but in a town for outdoor activities what do you need. Pool is nice, outdoors unscreened. The Bad; window shaker AC, if your a light sleeper the noise will be a problem, they could us new mattresses,... More

The hotel is classic 1960's, as is the entire town, for very good reasons. Hurricane Donna destroyed much of the town, and all that remained has been maintained. I like this place, it reminds me of a simpler time! The motel is clean, the bed comfortable, the tv was good, and the wifi worked well enough. The room is very... More

We were short on time only coming in from Miami International early evening and leaving for North Florida the following afternoon so it was important to find accommodation in the heart of the Everglades. The Captains Table fitted the bill but there are few accommodation options in Everglade City and the price and dated decor of the rooms probably reflects... More

It's a motel, it's not beautiful, but the room was clean and a good size, and the motel is in a nice setting by the river. We found the lady on reception very helpful as we had a few questions and she made some great recommendations about air boat tours, and lunch and dinner suggestions, all of which we took... More

We just wanted to take a trip to escape the farm for few days. This is area we had not explored. Arrived Friday evening and checked in. I had booked for a King, we got two double beds. Was told "special" rates did not apply, although I booked through Trip Advisor. The desk clerk was short and curt, could not... More
