Terry was outstanding and his welcoming and accommodating nature and expertise in hospitality raised the bar on this adequately maintained facility, which seemed a little lax in security and higher level corporate management.

While a guest at Elysium (advertised as a secure hotel) my room was entered into while I was sleeping. The person(s) must have had a key because there was no evidence of lock tampering. Nearly $500 in cash was taken from our wallets. The hotel manager was totally useless. Hotel clerk even said that it has happened in the past...

As soon as my friend and I entered this 'hotel' it was bleak and sinister. The tiny manager in the reception area couldn't even be bothered to switch the lights on possibly saving electric but perfect setting for a Halloween movie. The creature then got the hump when we turned up early. The fact that my friend had to introduce...

Right from the beginning it was bad. The guy on reception was unfriendly and unhelpful. The room was pretty basic and the kitchen and bathroom especially needed updating. The public areas badly maintained. Facitlities poor. There are much better places to stay in the area. You might be tempted to book if nothing else is available but resist! You would...

This place is under new ownership and it's obvious their main goal is to sell it off for new development when the time is right. Running a quality hotel is not their focus. The room was extremely spartan. Not even a picture on the wall. Obviously was missing a sofa too with all the empty space. It was reasonably clean...

I will start by saying that I first went to The Elysium about ten years ago and then about six years ago. Those two visits were very nice. Great staff, free parking for guests, free breakfast, social hours on weekends, nicely maintained. The rooms were outdated but they were in the process of updating rooms. We had stopped going to...

Arrived today to below standard rooms Scruffy and in need of a total refurbishment Seven of us checked in and within five minutes checked out and moved to a better hotel It's beyond tired, basic rooms and facilities and gave an impression of unhygienic. The receptionist was helpful and polite and could not apologise enough Sorry but won't return Avoid...

The manager was absolutely rude and nasty. He was extremely unhelpful. The rooms are outdated and not very clean. Our air conditioner unit was broken. It took maintenance 2.5 hours to come look at it only to tell us that it wud be another hour before we get moved to another room. This hotel and staff cost us a night...

About the same price as other places in the area. Several years ago was beautifully maintained with nice gardens. Now, The furniture is so dirty we won't sit on it. Appears to have dog hair on it?? Staff apologizes and states " sorry but there is nothing I can do..". No towels for the pool. Nothing on the walls but...

We have stayed here 2 years ago and it was okay and fun. This time it was a disaster. Apparently a new company bought this resort and has not paid attention to the details. We booked on the Elysium website which apparently isn't supposed to work. We booked a 2 bedroom suite and when we got there we had a...
