A beautiful little set up, bright yellow in color, and nestled toward the south end of Ft Myers Beach. Riveting ocean views and TWO pools were just a couple of the great features to this hotel. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. Each night we cracked the door to the balcony and allowed the...

We took our college-aged twin daughters on Spring Break for a graduation present and created awesome memories. Loved the kitchenette - full size refrigerator was a definite plus. Stove, microwave, coffeemaker and all the utensils needed were supplied. We were able to buy groceries and eat breakfast and lunch to save money because we easily spent $100 a meal for...

We stayed here for just one night in January on a long vacation to Florida & Caribbean. On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful and we knew we had picked a good hotel immediately, it felt more like a family ran hotel but very professional. We had a quick check in and our room was ready early. The...

Again, enjoyed our stay at the Sandpiper Resort. I had asked for a 2nd floor courtside but ended up with 1st floor courtside. It was nosier than it has been in the past years, but is easily resolved by turning on a/c heating unit. The prices keep going up there (like everything else). I'm ambivalent about the price versus the...

Ft. Myers beach is a great beach, getting thru there is a real hassle, with that being said, the location of the Sandpiper is good, kind of in the middle. Room was plenty big, maybe needs a little updating, especially the bathroom. Shower AND toilet in same area w/ a sliding door, separating from the sink area, the big wall...

Update this place...please! If it weren't for the view (from our overpriced oeanfront room) would have been a real bad experience. Thin walls..one flatscreen TV that is right in front of one bed only (roommate had a sore neck from trying to watch from the other bed), tiny, tiny bathroom. Cabinets were in awful shape. Staff was very nice, clean...

Thank you for your comments and concerns. The Sandpiper has been operating with a new management company since last December. Changes have already been made with operating procedures and policies. Thank you for taking notice of the friendliness of our associates and cleanliness of the hotel grounds. There are plans for future updating projects that will be sure to satisfy...

We stayed at the Sandpiper unexpectedly because they very nicely could accommodate us when our booked hotel lost our reservation... (yea, it happens). Sandpiper was PERFECT and there was a beautiful sunset that night, so all ended well. Best part: we were in room 404, in the side building, facing the Gulf, with large balcony. If you are counting on...

Due to a weather delay in Minneapolis (shocking for winter, I know!) we did not arrive at the Sandpiper until a bit after 2a. However, we were happily greeted by their security who helped find us a parking spot, and asked if we wanted to know anything about the hotel. We were wide awake and willing to check things out...

This time, though, we got a sea-view room with a huge balcony.. The room is large, clean, with well equiped kitchenette. The "private" beach is not crowded. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Good wifi reception. There is no dining facility and the pool is a bit small.

Booked this property from the reviews on tripadvisor.com and they were correct! The views from the beachfront rooms are amazing. Great sunsets, the property is clean and well taken care of. Love, love the wristbands you wear to enter/exit the property and your rooms. No keycards to mess with! The rooms were well equipped with coffee maker, toaster, dishes and...
