Our family stayed at Honey Lake Resort for our nephews wedding in Greenville, FL. What a beautiful hidden gem! We had a spacious room in the trophy lodge within walking distance to the pool, gym, and game room. The kids enjoyed visiting with the horses, riding around in the golf cart, and playing in the pool. While my husband and... More

Recently held our daughter's wedding here. The grounds were beautiful, the cottages comfortable and convenient and the chapel was a beautiful setting for the ceremony (it was too hot to be outside by the lake unfortunately). The staff was very attentive and quickly cleared up the few issues that surfaced for the guests and bridal party. The only negative was... More

I recently visited Honey Lake to check it out for events. The setting and scenery is absolutely beautiful. It is without a doubt a wonderful wedding venue but would also be a great corporate team building retreat or family reunion location. There are a couple of lodging options and some beautiful meeting spaces. I didn't have the opportunity to have... More

We spent the night at this resort while there for a wedding. It is gorgeous. The room was very nice (although pricey). The only downside to this place is that there is NOTHING close by. Make sure you go with whatever you need!

On site restaurant for breakfast was very pleasant. Quiet, relaxing, good food and decent prices. Promptly seated and served by friendly staff. I was reluctant based on other reviews but I was happy I gave it a try.

The Honey Lake Plantation is incredible, but there are numerous problems. They have horses and skeet shooting among other things and the lake is wonderful! Now, here are the problems. The rooms etc. are decorated to the hilt, but the rooms do not have the proper insulation!!! You can hear people in the next room just talking normally. We heard... More

The accommodations were ok but for the price I was expecting a lot more. Not the high end resort I expected. The staff was much less than accommodating. Even the request of a cork screw was almost insurmountable. I was incredibly disappointed with the food, not as advertised at all for a private function. Also the "company policies" seem random... The plantation is wonderful. The room is nice but don't expect the extra amenities of a hotel. When it gets dark this place shuts down. The bar is only open at certain times.Walls of the lode were paper thin. Bring what you need.

I attended a wedding at the honey lake plantation. While the grounds are beautiful and serene, the cost for service and quality was sub-par. Food: Each meal (we stayed 4 nights total) took about an hour or more for service. Breakfast lunch and dinner took most of the day. Food was very heavy and hard to find variety. A friend... More
