NOT FOR FAMILIES! $20 bucks per person per night got us NOTHING but frustration and anger. I will be disputing the 87.00 charge on my VISA today! Trip1- My husband wanted to take me for a camping trip. We arrived early to find a nice spot down in the Beaver Landing area. Frat party set up next to us with...

Not for nature lovers if you plan on spending the night. third visit all equally as bad. Don't bring your kids!!!! Too loud, too expensive, unmonitored, college students everywhere, drunks, drugs, dirty. Hated it.

Kayaking down the Santa Fe one is struck as soon as one starts to pass Ginnie Springs by the change in the pristine nature of the river. In the clear water one can see beer and soda cans that have sunk to the bottom of the river and many littering the shore line as well. For several miles afterwards one...

Some of the reviews on here are ridiculous...and the reviewers need to exercise a little common sense. This is the only campground in the springs area that is alcohol friendly. If you are looking for a quiet family camping experience...then please choose from the MANY other springs campsites (Blue, Poe, etc) within just a couple miles. And common sense will...

We had a brand new 4 person tent that had been purchased the day before the trip. We set up the tent and because it was raining we drove to see some of the springs and have a cookout. When we got back to our campsite the tent was gone along with my husband's shirt, jeans. belt, and a fishing...

We went to Ginnie on our vacation after my boyfriend had raved about how beautiful the place was when he had gone several years ago. Overall I enjoyed my time there but it was a real disappointment on what the place had become from when he had visited. First, I was astounded at how incredibly rude the staff was. When...

You can enjoy a day visit, tent camping with or without electricity, rent their cabin or stay in your RV. There is and expansive onsite shop with just about anything you might need for camping,...

Ginnie Springs is absolutely, positively disgusting. The water is dark brown and dirty and the current is so weak that you end up getting stuck on top of muck, swampage, and seaweed. My kids were screaming and crying to get out. My six year old thought we were going to die in the river and never make it home, and...

Ginnie Springs is awesome!! The grounds are huge and great for bike riding. The springs and river are simply gorgeous! The best part is that alcohol is ALLOWED!! Don't go if you are looking for a quite family oriented campground!
