Three couples booked this hotel for a long weekend (Wednesday to Sunday) to celebrate a 50th birthday. We booked a "waterfront" 3 bedroom villa. The layout of the villa is awkward with the first floor bedroom/bathroom completely separate from the second and third floor accommodations. Waterfront isn't oceanfront and the view isn't worth paying any extra for. The only on...

My kids enjoied the pool. We stayed in one of the cottages. It would have been better if the house had been set up like the one we stayed in while we were in Marathon at their sister resort. The cottage reeked of mildew or mold.... Not sure which. The owners may want to invest in a dehumidifier system.

This was our third hotel on our trip around Miami and the Florida Keys. Our apartment was on the second floor and my was it big. There was a large living room (with a very small kitchen area, including a microwave and coffee machine) with a large TV & DVD player and then a large bedroom with a massive, high...

Looking at the web site of Parrot Key Resort, I really expected that it would be an ocean side stay, that even though I booked a garden view room, I would only be a few feet from the beach. Next time I book a resort I should have a lawyer read the fine print! There is no beach, only pictures...

At my recent stay I paid EXTRA for a "Sea View" which consisted of eye level palm trees which allowed an intermittent view of a 20 0r 30 ft wide waterway leading 'somewhere??" and then another row of buildings obstructing any view of what laid beyond. A "rip off". Also no restaurant on grounds, they failed to mention when booking...

My significant other and I stayed here on our first week-long trip away together and we couldn't be more pleased (except maybe with the in-room coffee). Our suite was an upstairs one overlooking the water and was almost how it was in the photo. The place was spacious. The setting was romantic. We loved the front and back balconies and...

Despite the heavy construction and chaos outside its walls, Parrot Key was a lovely little oasis of tranquility. We stayed in the three story two bedroom/ two bath villas with an "ocean view" [more on the quotations around that in a minute] First the good: The Good: - Very clean - Well maintained property. - Friendly front desk staff -...
