Pelican cove is a great find! Rooms are super clean and the property is right on the ocean! Julia in the front office was extremely helpful at check in. We felt like we instantly had a friend in Islamorada. The pool bar is fabulous with...More

We were very happy during our recent stay. I do not have photos of my oceanfront room but had no complaints. I felt that the photos on the hotel's website were very accurate in the size of the room. The rooms are not sprawling, perhaps more on the cozy side but I never felt cramped and looked bed the terrace. We visited their sister properties. Both Amara Cay and La Siesta were larger but we felt we had made the right decision for us with staying at the more intimate Pelican Cove. We also preferred that Pelican Cove had the only true beach. I found it quite peaceful and relaxing. Yes there was music playing near the pool but we enjoyed it and did not consider it to be too loud. I also felt that the staff was exceptional. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. I hope this eases your mind.
