Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Ten of us more mature ladies have just returned from three nights at Lambside House...We have had a fabulous time....the house is tucked away, not overlooked, we could walk to the coast path....There was everything we needed at the house, it was clean and enough room for all of us and our many bags ha ha. We were able to light the woodburner and we even managed the wood fired hot tub which was fabulous even in the rain. We would not hesitate to return......

Private beach, beautiful views, the sound of the sea, the rocks, plants, birds the sunrises and sunsets were all wonderful. The beach hut has everything you need, the hammock chairs looking out of the window at the sea are fantastic. It was warm and cosy with a lovely bathroom. Cooking facilities are simple but totally adequate. Swimming and playing with the waves was fantastic. Saw seals while swimming. I went home physically and mentally fitter and feeling able to tackle the modern world again.

We stayed at the beach hut for 2 nights, it was the most relaxing and amazing place, everything was perfect. We brought the bbq and breakfast hamper which was brilliant easily enough food for the two days we were there. The weather was really hot which made our stay even more amazing but could see how it could also be cosy and just as enjoyable in the colder months.

My wife and I stayed in Boundary cottage, it’s described as luxury throughout which it isn’t but it is comfortable ( well apart from the sofa). Please be aware that this cottage is described on cottages.com as detached, it isn’t and the photos are taken to mislead you. Although when booking through carswell cottages it doesn’t say detached it also doesn’t say it isn’t and with a distant angled photo of the front you can’t really tell. I have added a photo from the front to illustrate. Also the bathroom could have been much better designed to include a wardrobe instead of a ladder with hangers on it in the bedroom. The bed was comfortable and the surroundings beautiful and peaceful. As described the rear garden is a lovely open space and seeing as we had sun nearly every day we sat out most evenings.

Words can’t really describe this total oasis. Thank you so much for sharing your idyllic getaway with us, we had THE most magical time. It’s got to be one of the most special places in the whole of England. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we felt totally pampered and relaxed. Fresh farm eggs, coffee and milk were laid out for our arrival, sunny skies and the cosiest swing chairs to nestle in for an afternoon of watching the sea for seals and dolphins. We saw lots by the way! Gorgeous walks to Noss Mayo and great pub lunch before coming back to soak in the wood fired hot tub under the stars. Words don’t really do this place justice and we cannot thank you enough. We were so well looked after, it was just perfect. We will be coming back every year!!!

The Beach Hut is an amazing place to go to just hideaway and relax. It is completely secluded and private. The hot tub looking out on your own beach is brilliant and the hammock chairs inside are perfect for when it rains.

We have stayed in this cottage a few times now. It’s such a beautiful location away from the crowds but with access to the coastal path. Lots of places for walking. The cottage is spotless and has everything you need and more. Organic milk and eggs left were really nice together with doggy bag for our 4 legged friend. A lot of thought has been put into these cottages and makes a beautiful relaxing escape

My girlfirend and I had a wonderful few days with gorgeous warm weather in the magical beach hut. Relaxing in the hot tub watching, and listening to the waves was a pure escape. I can thoroughly recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed. You won't want to leave.
