I stayed in the Clay hotel for 5 nights just recently. I paid a rather modical price, compared to other hotels in SoBe. I went for the VIP room instead of the budget room, so my review concerns this category. I believe the only difference between budget and VIP is that one has a bathroom in the room and the...

We stayed at the clay for 2 nights. Its on a nice avenue but if you looking to get any sleep before 4am, forget it. Both nights had no sleep until after 4am as our room directly above a busy restaurant and Irish bar. Room ok not very clear and windows and door don't shut so more noise. Hotel staff...

The Clay Hotel is on Espanola way in South Beach which is only 2 blocks from the beach. The rooms are not luxurious, but they are clean. Staff is very attentative. There are restaurants located downstairs, but there are better options just steps away. Very cute neighborhood and a great SB location.

If you are planning to stay here during a weekend and you plan on going to bed past 4am, then you are OK. If, however, you try to go to bed earlier, STAY AWAY. One night my boyfriend and I went to bed at 2am but couldn't get asleep til after 4 because the hotel is located directly above a...

Booked on line for a VIP room. We wound up with a standard room, plus a screaming AC that could not be turned off. We showed our receipt to 3 employees, none would resolve our issue, saying it was a computer error, right! If they were really honest they should have a least provided a refund. Sure seems like a...

I am in the travel industry and travel often staying at hotels throughout the Caribbean and Latin America. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever seen, so much so that I did not stay. I should have known it was going to be a disaster from the look of the front of the hotel. It certainly does...

The Clay Hotel was perfect for us 3 college kids on Spring Break. Reading the reviews we were expecting the bare minimum, almost expecting a dirty hotel. That was not the case. We checked in super late due to a flight delay, no problems there since the desk is open 24hrs. We did have to walk up 2 flights of...

I hate needlessly bad reviews of people. So I had to write my own. Me and my fiance (then girlfriend) stayed for one night in Jan 2010 before we got a cruise. We wanted a good location and cheap which this was. The hotel is in a great location, 2 blocks to the beach and 10-15 min walk to the...

The Clay Hotel is the best value in South Beach. I only stayed one night, on a Saturday night, but would definitely stay here again. Can't beat the location - you're right in the heart of it all. Close to the beach as well as the hot clubs (right across the street from Cameo and a couple blocks from Mansion...
