I would double check before I lit up a cigarette on their balcony though. Also, if allowed make sure you dispose of all cigarettes, cigars, etc. properly.

We stayed in an oceanfront room with two beds and it had a great balcony. It wasn't a suite. Only word of caution, if the balcony door is open when the room door is opened it will SLAM the room door shut with a ton of force... More

Only word of caution, if the balcony door is open when the room door is opened it will SLAM the room door shut with a ton of force. I made sure my three year old was no where near it because I'm sure it would take her hand off easily.
