The location right on the beach means each and every room has an oceanfront view. You get your own private balcony to sit out on and can see the ocean, pool, and nearby bar. The Inn offers a free breakfast basket in the morning (OJ, muffin, coffee, yogurt and fruit) which you just pick up at the front desk. They...

We decided to hold our family reunion here. Was very nice having a pool right on the beach. Except for the itching all night and to wake up with bugs in your bed swollen with your blood! Bathrooms also smelled very moldy. We took one of the little creatures to the front office and got our room changed. Next room...

Love this place. Great location. ALL ROOMS face the pool and ocean. First floor rooms offer pool view. Second floor rooms can see the ocean. Walk from room, past pool, to walkway to the ocean. Retro style hotel. Furnishings are a bit dated but who cares. This place is clean, fun and relaxing. Book quickly as they sell out every...

Great location and value to be near the middle of the town, at the beach, by a cool bar on the sand with an ocean view from every room. Older motel, well kept, helpful front staff. Definitely needs some updating for sure, in the rooms, especially beds, pillows, amenities, etc. but the price is reasonable considering the location.

Our son lives in Jax, so have come to this hotel often. It is always friendly, clean, very close to the beach, private, nice pool, very homey, which is what we like, instead of the high rise huge places.

The Seahorse is in the perfect location! We parked and did not move our car for 4 days. Very good restaurants and bars all within walking distance. Also, enough shops to pick up a cute gift or two. The staff is friendly and informative - especially the women who took care of our room - wish I had gotten her...

All the reviews are accurate that I read. It throwback hotel right on the beach. The room was gone with the noisy wall AC and a hint of musty. Good value with the usual beach crowd. I would stay here just not expecting anything luxurious! Checking is lengthy.

Stayed in the top floor suite with a single queen bed. If you're not looking for bells and whistles, just a good view & location for a good price, this is the place. Lots of restaurants/bar a within a 5min walk plus a Starbucks. Jax beach is 1mile. Neptune beach is laid back, not a club scene

This is the perfect location to enjoy "the beaches" of Jacksonville, Florida. I had stayed here 20 years and loved coming back! Yes, it is vintage motel but has the perfect amenities for a beach stay. Thoughtfully, they have included a small refrigerator and microwave to use when you want to enjoy a snack or a light lunch. It's a...

If you are into fancy grounds and accomodations, this is not the place. If you are into beach, location, and clean rooms, this is a really good option. The pool bar, Lemon Bar had very good boat drinks. The bartenders were fun and fast. The hotel is right on the beach and there are good hotel options within walking distance.
