Our family loves this resort. The staff does everything to make your stay wonderful. Activities were awesome...so much to do!!!! The entire family enjoyed the pools as well. Only drawback is the on-site deli/grocery. Pricey!!! 1 can of soda was $2.12 and a small bottle was $3.82. Yikes!!! Other than that, we had a fabulous time and plan on coming back next May with more family members.

I can’t begin to say enough great things about this place. We booked through a third party major site and were amazed at the price we got (including rental car). The price was so good, we expected it to be too good to be true. So, we went in with a cautious mindset, expecting to run into additional costs that weren’t disclosed.

This was definitely not the case. The staff were amazing and super friendly. Maria(h) was super friendly and very accommodating whenever we had questions or needed anything. The grounds were beautiful and the pools were heated.

The room - we had the 2 bedroom option. This thing was HUGE! Walking in, you have a full kitchen with dishwasher, stove, fridge, granite countertops, and all of the dishes, plates and utensils you need for cooking.

There was a washer and dryer in the room free to use. There was a full dining room table with chairs for 6. There were also two tall stools at the kitchen counter for a breakfast area.

The living room was huge and has a pull out sofa. There are also two chairs and a coffee table. The DVD player was actually a Blu-ray player. Off the living room is a screened in balcony with entrances into the living room or master bedroom.

The kids had a bedroom with two single beds and a tv. They also have their own full bathroom.

The master - this room was simply amazing. King size bed. Arched walkway into the giant room with a soaking tub and a large mirror over a very long countertop with a sink. Off of this room, there is a bathroom with a toilet, sink and glass front shower.

This place was magical. The only thing I can even barely think of to complain about was the water pressure. But, what hotel doesn’t have that issue?

Overall, we love this place and hope to go back. We really didn’t want to leave.

This was our third stay at Grande Villas during the annual Hamcation radio event. If you are looking for accommodations during that time, the Villas are about 30 minutes from the fairgrounds and in a good location for most other Orlando attractions. It’s fun to have our own cute little apartment for a few days. We enjoy strolling the lovely grounds in the evening and there are nightly activities in the pool/bar area if you care to participate.

When you check in, you will be given a welcome package which includes discounts to restaurants and attractions with the caveat that you must attend a time share presentation. The concierge did a nice job with the invitation but we declined. There was an abrupt change in demeanor at that point that made me uncomfortable...not exactly rude, but the charm disappeared and the discount coupons were whisked away. Other than that, the only negative was that sometimes the music from the pool area was loud enough that it was intrusive. We did not experience this during our other visits. Neither of these things would keep us from returning but they keep the Villas from getting 5 stars.

If you turn right on Vinings Way when leaving the resort and then left on Lake, you will reach a nice Winn Dixie grocery store (with the most delicious ice cream shop in front of it.) There are lots of good restaurants in the area. We like Sofrito Latin Cafe and Sweet Tomatoes.

Finally, a shout out to housekeeping! Our apartment was spotless when we arrived and they never failed to greet us in a sincerely gracious way when they passed by.

Unfortunately we pre paid our three week stay so had to endure.

Location - good location for disney resorts and there are shops and restaurants within walking distance

Room - very small and outdated. We had a one bedroom with pullout sofa. When the sofa is out you can’t open the door properly..super cramped. Our sink was leaking giving off a fowl smell. Luckily there was a large bowl under the pipe or water would have gone everywhere. We waited over an hour for someone to fix it while i kept emptying the bowl ( apparently i have nothing else to do on holiday) it took three calls to actually get someone to the room.
Once it was fixed cleaning came to tidy the mess. The cleaner simply rinsed the salad bowl that they had used to collect the fowl pipe water with no soap and put it back in the cupboard . Nothing short of disgusting! This is how people get sick from staying in hotels .
We also had to endure the person in the room below smoking on the balcony . The smoke filled our room and we could hardly sleep. I asked the reception desk to sort it out. They didn’t and were less than interested, so on the second night i complained to the manager. He dished up the usual apology. It is a non smoking resort but they chose not to deal with it. We basically had to put up with it until that guest checked out.

The pool was nice and putt putt fun, but we were disappointed by the overall experience. The sister property across the road looked far nicer.

We would never stay here again.

Extra costs not expected upon arrival at front desk that makes the stay more expensive. Fees for pool and some unclear additionals despite the fact it was winter time and no willing to use these extra costly services. After 2 weeks of being here, it became uncomfortably: cleaning it's only offered once a week or you need to pay more. In addition no breakfast at all and what is offered downstairs is pricey and not good enough for my taste. Bathroom is poorly ventilated, so remains humid all day. Kitchen is small and not very comfortable. Dressing room not in very good shape.

I would stay here again because the staff and location are great. The one-bedroom unit has a large bathroom and bedroom area, but the kitchen and living area are very very small and dark. There are no windows at all. A sliding door in the bedroom is all the light. It’s okay for just 2 people. There also is no washer, dryer or dishwasher in the unit. It was clean and well kept. The store and restaurant are open until midnight which is very convenient.

We got a big room with a porch that had screens. We stayed here because it's 5 minutes from Disney Springs and 15 minutes from Universal theme parks. Also it has an in-room clothes washer and dryer which allowed us to pack lighter so we could buy more souvenirs.

I had read some really good reviews before booking and this resort totally lived up to and exceeded out expectations.

The staff were helpful, the apartment was very big and well stocked and a bonus was we were in the first floor overlooking the pool which meant our 11 and 15 year old could to down a bit before he and we were able to watch them still.

The decor was very dated but clean, tidy and had everything we wanted for our stay.
Having toilet rolls, washing up liquids and soaps, even tea, coffee and sugar was nice to arrive to and the separate bath towels and look towels were a nice touch.

During the day the pool was not too busy so we had plenty of room to swim and relax.
In the evenings the pool for very busy up to 11pm which did not bother us as we went out for an evening meal every night anyway. The place after 11pm went quite quiet as the pool closed and apart from the last night we did not have any noise from any of our neighbours.

To get to Disney parks you have the option of getting the shuttle from the sister hotel which runs twice to get there in the mornings and twice back from 2 parks in the evening located across the road at cypress point but the times and drop off points didn't really didn't suit us for when We wanted to go.

We paid roughly $8.00 per lyft ride to take us to Disney springs 5 mins drive away then got the Disney buses to each park which are free, they are frequent but you still need to be a bit organised with this.Overall this was a lot more convenient and cheaper than hiring a car and then paying for Disney parking.

It's a little bit more, around $15.00 for a lyft service to get to universal but this was not a problem as it is a cheap option as we are a family of 4 traveling directly from the resort nice and stress free

There are no buses directly from the grande villas area to the Disney parks.

There are several good shops and restaurants a 5-10 minute walk away including a huge Winn-Dixie and a pharmacy,Dollar tree and petrol station.

I would avoid the in site pizza if possible as it was greasy and salty and tasteless, they are good if you run out of milk but most of the goods stocked are very expensive even with an initial 20% off coupon you get. I recommend you take a walk to the nearby shops or supermarket for the basics.

Would recommend the resort and area out stay was perfect.

Just an extra mention to the housekeeping staff who came once while we were there during our 2 weeks as requested and they made the place sparkle and smell amazing which was so lovely to go back to after walking around Disney all day.

Looking for a resort that offers lots to do and is in a great location....choose Grande Villas! Minutes from Disney Springs. Various restauants and shops in walking distance and the resort amenities include multiple pools, miniature golf, basketball courts and more. Additional cleaning of all public places on the resort is taking place due to covid. Complimentary Shuttle to Disney also available. Also, Cyrpress Pointe Resort is right across the street and you have access to their amentities as well. Two bedroom unit is very spacious and well supplied with full kitchen and utensils. Unit offers a screened in porch on the corner of the unit. Enjoyed our stay very much.

I am a huge Disney fan but traveling during Sprink Break with 2 little kids, I couldn't afford a suite on Disney property to have the space I wanted. I did a lot of research on hotels close to Disney before booking this hotel. This place was AMAZING! The price was great, especially for what you get. The 2 bedroom suite was enormous and great for the 4 of us for 7 days. Winn-Dixie food store was basically around the corner and we fully stocked our fridge and pantry. Everything you need is included in the kitchen, including paper towels, dish soap and sponge, and all silverware and plates/bowls/cups/pots/pans. I did not feel like this place was super outdated like many reviews mentioned, however someone told us they are renovating the hotel so it will be even better soon!
The screened in porch was so nice-you could sit on the chairs and not be bothered by any bugs.
There are multiple pools but my 3 and 5 year old LOVED the kid pool that is only 1 foot deep. There is free mini golf, a craft room, and a playground (plus you can use the pool and playground across the street at sister property). The restaurant/convenience store on property was awesome. The food was good and the store basically had anything you could need without leaving property to go to another store.
The hotel had so many stores and restaurants close by and was at most a 15 minute drive to all Disney parks.
We will DEFINITELY be staying here again next time we visit Orlando!

Almost all hotels and timeshares in this area charge a daily resort fee…regardless of how you booked. Many also charge for parking on top of the resort fee. Most places are charging more than this property. The going rate is $25-40 per day.

I was there 2 weeks ago. There is no shuttle service. Their website actually says that you require your own transportation.

The shuttle is about $9-10 per person to Disney. It leaves in the morning and returns in the evening.
