Sandy Key #423 is such a beautifully decorated condo with every amenity you might need for the perfect vacation. I always choose this condo because I know it will be well maintained as the photos represent. The owners continuously update anything needing attention or repaired and perdido reality is always immediate to respond to any request. I have stayed in this condo over 5 times during the past 6 years. Perfection!!! Don’t hesitate to book it!!!

We stayed at 423 Sandy Key for 2 weeks. The photos for the condo do not provide the true condition of the condo. The bathrooms are in desperate need of updating. They are moldy and gross. We rented for 2 weeks and we were only provided one additional trash bag for the entire 2 weeks. That’s $1400 per week with only one trash bag. Apparently this is in a blanket email that is sent to guests that we did not receive. We also received an email at 4:04 at checkin to let us know that maintenance is currently in progress which we did not get prior notification in time to cancel. Would not recommend staying here or relying on Perdido Key Realty to fully disclose all information prior to your arrival. Will not be back!!

Very nice, quiet, and clean place. Each unit is privately owned and personally decorated, so each stay is unique. All units are oceanfront with a beautiful view of the gulf. Two pools with a hot tub between them. They have a full kitchen and outdoor grills, so don't forget to bring the stakes.

Very unprofessional and dirty. The place was dirty (bedding, functional.etc) and we found clothes from other guest in a room. We had to contact them multiple time for them to even call us back. Management was rude and not helpful.

Unit 828 is in need of total updating!!! Paint and deep cleaning. The furniture is old! Dishwasher was filled with mold!! The beds were comfortable, that’s the only positive. The beach items in the back were all rusted and broken. One of of the patio chairs is broken. Can’t believe someone hasn’t gotten hurt. We have stayed at Sandy Key for many years. We have always had positive experiences. This condo owner should be ashamed to rent this unit!!!! Some electrical outlets don’t work. When you pay this kind of money not worth it!’ Not the fault of Sandy Key

I was very disappointed in Sandy Key after they raised our rates AFTER we had a signed contract and confirmation. My family is from all over and was looking for a beach vacation where we could all get together. We found Sandy Key, and although it was overly expensive, we decided to splurge and book about 8 units at the end of November 2022 for June. All was well until January 4th when we get an email from the HOA saying it wasn't normal, but they were going to have to raise our rates (including taxes, fees, cleaning fees, rent) by almost $500 or nearly 20%. This was the first time I'd heard of someone raising the rates after the contract was signed. We contacted the company and one of us that got a response was told it was impossible to honor the original rate. The contract does say rates may change without warning. And we could look at the legality of what is included in "rates" (As they also raised the cleaning fee, which also raised all of our taxes, etc). But we decided that if this company was so bad at managing their bookings, we wouldn't take a chance of them raising the rates again or flat out canceling on us. We were already put in a terrible position and our options to book elsewhere were now gone because Sandy Key waited to tell us about the increase. Lesson learned not to use Sandy Key again. I can't deal with a company I can't trust to fulfill their commitments. As an aside, Sandy Key said they were refunding our money but I have not seen it refunded on our credit card. I will update as needed.

Very nice condos, great views. Very close to the water. However, if a heated pool and working hot tub is important to you, I advise looking for a different resort as the hot tub consistently is “under repair”. We have been coming here for many hears and it has been been an ongoing joke that the part is on order.

Our room has a disgusting mattress with a big urine stain and broken springs!!! Unit 423 owners refused to refund our 2nd week when we asked to cancel contract-even though they new there was a problem with mattress because they put a sheet of plywood under it for the broken springs. Definitely not a solution but the pee stains are sickening and a health code violation.! Management company has had info since the 5th but expect me to still sleep on it until they can get the new mattress delivered tomorrow! 3DAYS LATER!!! YUK!!!! Housekeeping could see that nasty dirty stain and they should have replaced it before we got here!

Location is good and it is quiet. We stayed in building one. Unit is ok for a vacation rental. We are beach people and beach service is terrible. For so few people that are using it it should be outstanding.

On Sunday, June 20, 2021, I was a guest at Sandy Key Condominiums in Perdido Key, Florida. That evening I was by the pool with other guests and went to the breezeway in Building 2 to use the common bathroom that is maintained and owned by Sandy Key. As I tried to exit, the lock and the door knob would not work. I began banging on the door and doing everything I could to get out with no success. After screaming and banging on the door for 20 minutes, a fellow guest heard my screams and stopped to help with no success either. I told her my husband (who at that point had thought I went back up to our condo) was at the pool and to go get him for me. She did and my husband along with several other men tried everything to open this door. At this point began to feel like I was going to pass out due to the temperature in the bathroom and my exhaustion of trying to get out. A friend found a security worker to get his help. He got some tools and gingerly tried to open the door with no luck. He then told the other people there he was worried that Sandy Key would take the cost to repair the door out of his paycheck. The other guests disregarded this man as it was more important to free me from this bathroom! Finally, after about an hour of being stuck in the scorching bathroom, but husband was able to completely bust the lock and handle off the door and I was able to get out. I exited to about 20 other guests standing around who witnessed this event. All I did was ask who the girl was who helped me and gave her a huge hug. If she had not stopped I could have been in there for hours since the people I was with all thought I had returned to the condo for the evening. In speaking with other guests that night, we found out that someone else had been locked in the bathroom earlier that night and was able to get freed within 5 minutes of working on the door. Unfortunately, I did not have so much luck. There was no sign on the door after that had happened and Sandy Key did nothing to warn its guests about the faulty door and lock. That night, I immediately emailed Sandy Key (Marlene Eldridge) and the realty company we booked our trip through explaining what had happened. I did not received a response until 2:52 the following day. The email from Marlene said she was sorry for the inconvenience and if I wanted a refund (which is what I requested) I would have to go through the realty company I booked through. Anyone who has common sense knows that Sandy Key is the responsible party. I sent several emails showing the bruising I had on my knee and hip from throwing my body against the door to get out. I have called Marlene to speak with her directly, I stopped in the office to speak with her while we were there only to be told she would call me back. I STILL have not received a call back. I have since been ignored by Sandy Key, Sandy Key HOA (who has been notified about this as well) and the owner of the unit we were staying in that just so happens to be the Board President of the Sandy Key HOA. On top of all of this, the elevators were broken during our entire stay, so I had to walk up and down 5 flights of stairs with a bruised hip and knee the entire week of our vacation. I think Sandy Key needs to own up to their responsibility for what happened to me, refund my trip and learn to take care of their guests. They have been nothing but unprofessional and disrespectful!
