We travelled to visit a friend in the area. We used public bus transportation that was nearby and ate at Pipo's just over the way. There is no sidewalk as you walk through the industrial area to the bus and eating places. The Pinellas bike/walking trail (paved) is right at the entrance to the park and makes this KOA location...

The drive into the campground can be a little disconcerting, since you're driving through an industrial park, but, once you arrive, this place is a gem. Our site was plenty big enough to accommodate our Class A motor home and our pad was a comfortable distance from our neighbors. We had a waterfront site that was wonderful. Yes, there are...

We reserved a site "overlooking the water". Ummm....not even close. The mangrove trees overpopulated the shoreline, especially at our site and we hadn't a "view of anything but brush. The cost was 107.00 per night for this site. Okay, with free wi-fi we at least hoped to watch a few movies while here on our computer. No such luck for...

Was quite pleasantly surprised by the quality of the facilities and the great location. The showers were newly remodeled and there were a number of private shower rooms. The staff was helpful. I had a tire inflation issue and was assisted by one of the resident maintenance crew. Pool and hot tub were a bit crowded at times, but fun...

We are staying at this park right now...nice park, dont let the drive in fool you. Great pool, nice staff, sites are ok but some I think would be tricky to get into... BUT the so called wi-fi is almost non existent...also not all sites dont have cable (we found out when we got to our spot). The wifi for...

We (family of 4) stayed here after New Year for a few days (I loved it so much an overnight was extended a couple days) We had a 40' 5th wheel. It was a little tricky getting into our site, the escort was very helpful, leaving was very difficult with our new neighbor blocking our departure path. The sites are...

Sites are very cramped. Our neighbors had three dogs running everywhere with no leash. This place is very expensive with only two people to a campsite. each addtional person is $6.00 per day. So beware of hidden charges. Website lakefront appears to be on the water with large openings. Be aware there are only a few sites like this. Most...

We stayed in this KOA on Dec 22nd, arriving mid afternoon and acquiring a site with hookups fairly easily. The staff were lovely, helpful and polite. The washrooms were immaculate, and the site itself was fine (quite exposed but we are discovering that most RV parks are like this). It was by far the most expensive park we stayed in...

Very disappointed. They should call them cramp-sites instead of camp sites. Very expensive and awful. Our friends booked a lake-view and got a 2 ft. path to the bay. They advertised a New Years Eve party and we tried to go and were embarrassed and asked to leave because we did not pre-register weeks ahead. Nothing was posted anywhere indicating...

This KOA campground is very family oriented and dog friendly. We stayed in a deluxe cabin for 4 overlooking the water. We had or two grandsons, 4 and 6. They loved the bunkbed. The cabin was very clean and nicely laid out. We had a deck and a patio with a fire pit and gas grill. The park personnel could...
