We had a room looking out to the Gulf. The view was great and there was always a breeze. Each morning they put chairs and umbrellas out on the beach. Breakfast is served each morning (cereal, fruit, waffles, bagels, etc.) nothing cooked. The location is good and they have bikes you can use.

Once again, Song of the Sea was the perfect beach vacation. This year the warm ocean temps. made water sports accessible. We took advantage of the free kayaks and paddle boards at the resort. Great fun! Tyrone helped us transport the equipment to the beach and gave encouraging advice. Breakfast is excellent....supervised with a smile and a welcome by Susie....

We loved this property. Service was excellent. Nice included breakfast buffet every morning. Great beach property with chaise lounges and umbrellas. Sister property a few steps away had a very good cabana bar and restaurant. Lighthouse 9766 round trip steps away :-) for a great walk on the beach. This was a family reunion and we had so much fun...

Its a nice place in a likely old Motel Construction. The Gulf view rooms offer a Resort Site view over the old small pool, but you hardly can see the sea from the balcony but never from the Room. We booked for four Nights, but left disappointed after one Night stay.

Dear 104marcele, I'm so sorry that you found Song of the Sea to be a bit of a disappointment. As one of the most popular and most loved by our guests, among all of our Inns, I'd like to learn more about how we could have provided a better experience. The property was built as a European-style boutique property and...

We arrived at Song of the Sea after a long day traveling. When we went to our room we were disappointed that it was smaller and darker than we anticipated. I went to the office and asked Shanique if we could upgrade to another room. They were booked and didn't have 4 nights available. I started to leave and assumed...

Thoroughly enjoyed our room at Song of the Sea with nice hotel layout surrounding the pool and a nice path to the beach. Best shelling beach ever! Took 2-3 walks per day along the water and never tired of the lovely breeze and interesting shells. Room was very good size with attractive terra cotta tile floors and an island feel....

A lovely small inn on the beach. Nothing over two stories, every room has a screened in porch. Beautiful pool, jacuzzi, shuffleboard, hammock and many places to sit outside. Excellent continental breakfast. Free bicycles. Rooms are spacious and nicely appointed with efficiency kitchen. Free beach towels, nice lounge chairs and sun umbrellas. We're going back.

This is a relatively small inn so if you'd prefer to have fewer people milling around, this is the place. It's very comfortable: we had a King bed efficiency unit that had plenty of room. The bathroom is small but workable (think Hampton Inn size). The resort is very clean and well-kept. It's major feature is proximity to the beach....
