My husband and I have been coming to Captiva for 32 years. We have a close relationship with Teeen Waters and have stayed there for many years. We booked late and Tween Waters could only accommodate us for 5 days. They suggested we go to their property on Sanibel West Wind. We

Just got back from a 4 night stay at this property. The staff is excellent and very helpful. You can't beat the Sunsets. The pool and bar area is full service. This was our first time on the island and we will definitely be back. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend West Wind Inn.

It’s best to reserve your umbrella when you check in or when you get to your room. You just call the desk. They set them up around 9am and take them down around 5 pm. They will put your name on a card and tie it to your umbrella. Usually it will be set up close to your room if you are staying gulf front.
