We loved our stay here at the Lighthouse Resort. Our room was very spacious! We had a two bedroom unit which included a den. We had two outdoor balconies and a screened in patio as well. The rooms have been updated and they are nicely decorated. Our bed and pillows were comfortable. We had a third floor room and a... More

We stay in a 3 bedroom Z(suite # 210) on the bay side - facing the lagoon, too - for Week #27 (which typically encompasses July 4th!), annually. Nice place... very spacious! Fun guests of all ages, lots to do, and, likewise, the Management ladies and Maintenance guys are all extremely helpful and friendly!

This is a great family resort on beautiful Sanibel Island. The resort has made a number of recent improvements and upgrades. The old parking lot area has been covered with attractive concrete pavers, all safety railings have been replaced with new ones, stairway treads and walkway areas on the second level have been re-tiled, and the buildings have been repainted.... Traded our Vegas Timeshare for this gem and had a fabulous time last year. We have already scheduled our return. We had a 1st floor room without a view, but we did not care, the roominess and location was all we needed. Units have some updates, are very clean and provide most all items necessary to feel at home. The... More

The rules are setup for those 65+, it has a "well" lighted pool and hot tub however rules say neither one can be used after dusk. At the end of a day spent sightseeing a relaxing dip in pool or hot tub would be nice. Our unit LOST power around 11pm, the office closes St 5pm. I called the emergency... More

We had a room directly in line with the lighthouse and the unit was large and very clean. The resort recently had new pavers installed in the parking lot and driveways and the whole building looked recently painted with new tile floors and banisters. The tennis courts were recently resurfaced as well. The staff is friendly and helpful, there are... More

I have vacationed at the Lighthouse since the mid-1990s, both as an owner and as a timeshare trade.. These are not rooms; these are condos. So I don't know why people call them rooms?? They are about 2100 sq. ft. in size which is why I love these units...3 bedrooms...plenty of room for a family. Yes, these units are older... More
