Discover a wonderful luxury family yurt camping holiday, where each of the 5 handcrafted Yurts enjoys tranquillity in a sanctuary of wildflower meadows and ancient trees. We are a family of four and have created safe and secure play area for enjoyment of the children and an indoor play barn for the bad weather days and film nights. Parents will also be able to relax at the retreat with a coffee or local beer, cider or a bottle of wine from the honesty bar whilst watching their children at play. We offer fluffy towels, luxury linens, breakfast boxes and artisan pizzas prepared in our wood fired pizza oven along with local produce in our honesty shop We are located just outside delightful Woodbridge and are within easy reach of the lovely beaches, quiet rural lanes and the historic villages of the Suffolk Heritage Coast. New for 2021 we now have a self contained 2 bedroom holiday cottage, sharing all the facilities of Suffolk Yurt Holidays but with a little bit more luxury and of course the outdoor bath

We were greeted warmly from arrival as 3 wet bikers needing warmth, food and drink. All needs were met immediately with ample parking, a complimentary basket of wood to get our log burner going to warm us up and dry our gear in a tidy, beautiful, spacious and cosey yurt that held the heat very well. Complimentary coal to go in our personal bbq, private seating area and own kitchen space with everything we needed to feel safe and secure as well as cutlery, plates, mugs and more. Paul went out of his way to get us everything we needed from start to finish including an incredible breakfast brought to our door with delicious warm homemade bread and some croissants with jam, juice, butter etc, yoghurt, fruit, tea and coffee. There was an honesty bar to keep us going and little shop for essentials and we could even enjoy marshmallows around a fire pit. We missed the pizza night but heard from other visitors it was incredible. Showers and toilets were clean and convenient. Lots of cover and seating so you could be outdoors even in the rain. A perfect mix of comfort and enjoying the beautiful rural surroundings. We could not fault nor recommend highly enough the experience, facilities and service. A must go and well worth every penny!

After having our group holiday abroad cancelled we looked for something different for our staycation, and boy did we hit on a winner with this one. 3 generations of happy faces and everything you could possibly need. The place was clean and they have thought of everything even down to recycling of waste. You can order pizza to be cooked fresh in the pizza oven with a large list of toppings and they taste amazing. The yurts are very spacious and the log burners keep you warm. The breakfast baskets are beautifully laid out with so much in them to cater for all requirements. Would definitely not hesitate to return next year.

This was our first time staying in a yurtand it was fabulous! Yurts were extremely comfy with a great bed and had a real homely feel as well as a hammock which was a lovely touch. There is plenty of space between each yurt as well which means you have plenty of privacy if you want it. The communal areas are also fab - you have your own fridge and cupboard with crockery and utensils if you are doing your own cooking. And everythign is spotless with sanitiser all around the site for guests to use. Lovely little barn as well for wetter days where you can watch dvds or play games. The site is well placed for local attractions and easy to get to.The hosts Jane and Paul cannot do enough for you to make your stay enjoyable and their homemade pizzas delicious! We can't wait to go back! Thanks

As a person who doesn't do camping or indeed glamping, this was an excellent first time experience. The yurts are so beautifully appointed. The double bed was extremely comfortable and of an unusual design, made by local carpenters. The facilities were very clean, and a bathroom policy of one in one out was in operation to reduce likelihood of any cross contamination, hand sanitizer was always available. Jane and Paul were perfect hosts, attending to all out needs. The honesty bar was well stocked and is in an excellent position for sunbathing whilst watching the children play under the beautiful old oak tree. Definitely re -booking for next year. Thank you for a lovely time.

Suffolk Yurt Holidays provided the perfect family staycation for us this July. Our boys (4yrs) had the best time as there was so much for them to do, and as the grounds are so secure we trusted them to be able to go off and explore. The equipment for the children was all immaculate and so well thought through.
The yurt itself was gorgeous and really spacious considering we had a family of four in there. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we could need and the family bathrooms that we could easily label as ‘occupied’ allowed us space and privacy.
And as for the hosts… so friendly and accommodating (and amazing pizza makers!) We will be back again, that’s for sure.

I visited Suffolk yurt holidays as a single parent of
2 energetic boys and couldn’t have asked for more. The yurt was quite simply, beautiful. The campsite is very well maintained, safe, secure and a lovely place to spend time. I liked that I could spend time with others in the bar and play area, but also had the option of spending time in our private dining area next to our yurt. The yurts are well spaced out to give the feeling of privacy, yet everything can be reached within a 2 minute walk. My boys loved having the freedom to play anywhere within the site and I felt comfortable in the knowledge they could easily be found when needed! Jane and Paul are such lovely, welcoming hosts, literally nothing is too much trouble. Loads to do in the local area, you have to drive everywhere, but we really enjoyed exploring. It was a 4.5-5 hour journey for us to get to Suffolk (which I was dreading!) but as my 10 year old said “It’s amazing here mummy, the drive was definitely, DEFINITELY worth it!!!” Would love to go back one day, so much more to see and do! Thank you 😊

The website is fantastic and actualy doesn't do justice to this wonderful yurt glamping site.

Paul and Jane were so welcoming and kind and worked tirelessly to ensure all visitors were happy and comfortable.

Their site is charming , their yurts are so comfortable and very very clean and fresh. All were individually decorated and lovely touches like fairy lights, hot water bottles, wood burner with logs. Outside each yurt was very private and had its own hammock, seating area with table and chairs plus a delightful canopy.

The whole site is beautifully maintained, and very clean. The home made pizzas were delicious and the perfect bar area, with coffees and access to drinks, ice creams etc. The camp fires at night were great fun and we so enjoyed the company of the other glampers.

Its just juch a relaxing place - just the right amount of other glampers to make a great atmosphere but not too big to not feel personal.

We can't wait to come again and bring our grown up family.

Special mention to Paul for the delicious breakfast delivered to our yurt each morning and to Jane for just being such a wonderful host.

Thank you so much

My son has always wanted to go camping and as we were not having a holiday due to covid pandemic we decided to book a little trip away glamping.

Even before I had arrived both paul and Jane had been so helpful and quick to reply to any queries I had.

This is glamping at its best, the Yurts were decorated beautifully and were extremely cosy! Comfy double bed for my husband and I and two pull out beds for the boys.

We had a lovely private area with a BBQ and hammock and table and chairs to dine outside

the facilities were fantastic, showers, communal kitchen where you get your own fridge, cupboard with cutlery, plates etc.

A wonderful play area, mud kitchen which the boys loved, amazing treehouse, swing and lots of other stuff for them to play with.

A little bar with a pizza oven and boy the fresh pizzas were yummy would definitely recommend them.

We ordered a breakfast hamper which was delivered to our door which was great.

The place itself is lovely, the hosts are great and we were just a drive away from some lovely beaches, Aldeburgh and Southwold

Would highly recommend this place we will definitely be back.

Such an amazing place. The lovely hosts Jane and Paul have thought of everything which made our stay so comfortable. Just 5 yurts meant it was private, peaceful and tranquil but yet it was social and fun with so much to keep the kids amused. The location meant we were spoilt for choice for activities (beaches, country walks, pub lunches, cycling, water sports, forest trails etc.) A tree house, play den, rope swing, fire pit, our own bbq, our own outdoor eating space all on site. The pizzas Paul makes to order in the outdoor pizza oven are so delicious. We star gazed through the top of the yurt when we went to bed all wrapped up in hotel quality linens with hot water bottles. We also ordered the breakfast one morning - such an amazing spread and so filling. Literally can't think of one thing they could do to make it any better. Highly recommend.

We stayed for two nights and were really impressed with the site. The Yurts are well spaced out so you feel you have privacy and they each have their own seating and BBQ area.

We stayed in the Apple yurt which is surrounded by apple trees and really pretty. The inside is spacious and comfortable with some lovely touches such as fairy lights around the bed. We loved the wood burner and were glad it was cold enough in the evening to use.

The communal kitchen has everything you need and each yurt has its own cupboard and fridge. There’s a communal firepit and bar and the toilet/shower blocks were spacious and clean.

Paul and Jane are lovely hosts and are really friendly. It’s clear they’ve tried to think of everything to make your stay enjoyable.

Would definitely stay again!
