Lovely friendly people who saw us to our pod, very spacious inside and very warm and cosy with heaters on. Picnic was ready in the pod which was lovely to arrive to and the air bed provided was very sturdy. Very clean facilities with only a small walk away, really enjoyed our fire provided and all in all with be... More

Never normally write reviews but just have to. We stayed for only 1 evening but felt that comfortable,we could have stayed for the week. We stayed b&b and the lodge is absolutely beautiful with stunning views. It has a really warm, homely feel about the place and very clean. The couple who own the lodge are so welcoming and can't do... We visited on a cold November day and arrived to be greeted by Gary. We had our names written on our pod door welcoming us and it was nice and warm for when we go there. The pods are warm and comfortable and located close to the toilet and shower facilities which are also all warm and clean. We took... More

Booked a night away here quite late before arrival and had a wonderful time. The place feels very like a ski lodge in its decor and the hosts Gary and Cassie are so welcoming and friendly. Bedroom has everything you need and bed was really comfortable with great views out to the hills. Every need is catered for and the... More

We stayed here for 2 nights as B&B guests whilst visiting friends and family around the local area. The lodge is stunning inside and has fantastic views over the hills and surrounding countryside. Cassie and Gary were really welcoming and made us feel at home. We stayed in Banff, which was compact but comfortable. The only thing we noticed about... More

In August my fiancée and I stayed in the big bear lodge B&B. When we arrived at the big bear lodge we were greeted with the friendly faces of Gary and Cassie and there little daughter Harriet. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Because the B&B is not attached to there home it didn't feel like we were intruding... More

My husband and I visited the Big bear lodge once again, but this time instead of being a glamper we were lucky enough to be staying in the stunning B&B. Stunning rooms with a very smart ensuite wet room. Very comfortable bed and amazing views out to the countryside. Breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked by Gary. Nothing was too much trouble... Stayed recently for one night, the place is smaller than we thought from the television but was so nice, spotlessly clean. We stayed in the Whistler room. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Gary drove us to our restaurant and picked us up which was so kind. The bed and quilt are so comfortable, breakfast fantastic. They have an... More
