We had a great stay, which was made into a 5* review by Zina and Andy. Their hospitality is first class and you are made to feel welcome and valued as a guest.

The rooms are 100% clean and the housekeeping team have the rooms cleaned to an amazing standard often before you are back from breakfast

Sunbeds on the beach are free for guests and there’s beach service for drinks and food

Breakfast is plentiful with hot and cold options.

Lunch and dinner is the same menu and very reasonably priced.

We stayed in 816 which is classed as a suite. It’s not a suite as such and the room is on the small side but all that is surpassed by the amazing view. It’s the view you are paying extra for. The room is modern and bright. The size of the room is online so you know what you’re getting in advance. The photos online are true to form.

Were we to return to Agistri we would stay again for sure.

Our teenagers advised Aktaion had the best chips on the island

Thank you Zina, Cheers Andy

Last weekend was our second stay at Aktaion Hotel. We love everything about this place - the style of the rooms, the front beach with crystal clear water and the kind and helpful owners. This place is ideal for a couple, but I think the hotel's facilities are extraordinary for children too. It's such a relaxing place. From Luna, the dog running around happily for a friendly petting, to the swimming pool and the port just 50 meters away, this is the ultimate location on this little island.

The rooms have a gorgeous design, with the most comfortable big bed you can imagine and a huge terrace where you can enjoy a snack or play cards.

Zina is such a delightful and helpful host. She'll always greet you with a smile, she'll help you with any inquiry and she'll even share her stories of how she moved to enjoy the island life with you. A family who lives and breaths hospitality and love for this little island.

I can't recommend this place enough!

In a few minute walking distance from Agistri 'port, the visitor will mbrace a small bay where the hotel lies front of the beach. Some umbrellas are free of charge for the hotel guests.
We had the traditional room at the backyard, which was quiet and spacious, with a jacuzzi included. However the bathroom needed a small rennovation as the siphon and the bath tub faucet was broken and the water was pouring over the side, and the gullies was damaged too. Thanksfully it was partlially quickly repaired.
The hotel owner and team were friendly and helpful.
My only disatisfaction was the breakfast, small variety of food. Egg, chesse or Spinash pastries were offered with French or Greek coffee. No fresh orange juice!
The front beach was ok but I strongly suggest you to walk 10min away after the Blue Church were you will find an organised beach at €8 the umbrella set or further away €15 for the swing umbrella set. However if you truly wish to see the amazing turquoise water of Agistri you can take a taxi (~€30 return fare) and go to Aponisso.

Clearly overrated hotel. We received the room without electricity. For six hours there was neither solution nor compensation. They insisted that it was an island problem, but all the rooms in the building had electricity, except for us. They finally agreed to call an electrician who fixed the fault. No interest in our state, not even an apology. When they saw us they looked the other way. The room was a duplex, the most expensive, yet the air in the bedroom was noisy and ineffective. We had to sleep downstairs on the sofa bed. The wifi slow and only worked a few hours (no wifi for two days). The fridge didn't have a measly bottle of water in it. The unusable terrace with the two air compressors in between. Outside another surprise: there is no covid protocol. No hotel employee wears a mask or respects safety distances. Other shortcomings were the lack of showers in the pool, no lifeguard, or the high prices of the restaurant. In short, bad organization, little interest, bad hotel. We moved to the hotel next door (Oasis Beach) and it was a huge leap in quality.

I've been to Aktaion Beach Boutique Hotel & Spa 3 times now and it's my favorite hotel in the world! The location is amazing (on a beautiful beach with great beach chairs and umbrellas) walking distance to where the ferry stops in Skala, (or if you take the ferry to the other port the hotel staff will come pick you up), it's very reasonably priced, comfortable rooms and beds, delicious food is served all day, excellent cocktails and super friendly and helpful staff!! I love everything about this hotel! It's family owned and run and they make you feel like family too. There is a new boutique associated with the hotel with beautiful clothes and jewelry and a new gym is in the works. I loved waking up every morning to hear the birds, having a swim in the pool or sea and then having the delicious deluxe breakfast with freshly baked pastries, spanakopita, eggs, sausage, bacon, meats and cheeses, greek salad, orange juice, fruit, cereal, special coffee beverages, tea etc. on the terrace over looking the beautiful Aegean Sea. It's all perfect! You can sit on the beach all day and have food and beverages delivered to your lounge chair (which is what my daughters always wanted to do) or you can go explore the Island, it's easy to get around on the bus or hire a boat, and there are several other beaches and shops in walking distance. We loved all of the meals that we had at the restaurant (salads, dips, pastas, calamari and other seafoods), and the specialty cocktails were delicious too (the mojitos were my favorite). We will definitely be back - the hotel, beach and island are my idea of paradise! Thank you Zena and Dionysus!

Firstly the staff are hard working, friendly and helpful. They made our stay absolutely wonderful thank you Andy, Zena and Coco.
We travelled at half term in October. We are a family including two teenage girls. The hotel is a short 5 minute bus ride from the hydrofoil port and a two minute walk from the small foot ferry. The hotel offered to pick us up from the hydrofoil - we took them up on their offer when we left. The hotel is situated beach front in the middle of a Skala - small village with numerous tavernas and shops (a lot of which were closed because of covid and being the end of the season). You would not need to hire a car. Having said this there were plenty of bicycle and moped hire shops. A keen cyclist could easily cycle around the whole island in a couple of hours. The sandy beach at the front of the hotel was clean and sheltered and perfect for children. The Hotel provides sun beds and parasols on the beach to guests.
We took a superior family room that had two spacious rooms and a large balcony. The rooms and bathroom have been recently renovated to a very high standard. We found the bedroom very
comfortable. For our stay of four nights there was plenty of storage space, but if we stayed longer we’d probably want a little more wardrobe space. The room also had a: safe; good air con; fridge; plenty of towels; tv with bbc world news.
The hotel restaurant operated from 8am through to midnight. Again this area had been updated and was modern and comfortable. We left early and they opened up the restaurant early for our breakfast.
The food is very good quality Greek/Mediterranean style. You won’t go hungry the portions are generous. Breakfast kept us going for most of the day. And they were very accommodating to our daughters specific/quirky requests. On one evening a local fisherman arrived delivering the catch of the day - amazing fish cooked to perfection. On the same night my wife had steak that was excellent quality cooked perfectly. The bar was decent with everything we wanted a good selection of local and bottled wines, beers, spirits etc.
There is a pool that was spotlessly clean (like the rest of the hotel) with sun beds and parasols that we did not use.
In short excellent hospitality with a touch of greek holiday idyl and modern accommodation.
We will return. Thank you to everyone at the Aktaion Beach.

If you are a couple who want a relaxing holiday please think carefully about where you want to stay. There were large family groups in this hotel, with lots of children who enjoyed splashing in the pool and helping themselves at the breakfast buffet. Perhaps this hotel would please these groups.
We found this hotel noisy. There is a path in front of it where day trippers and holiday guests to the island came off the boats in their droves. You had to cross this path of people to get to the beach. The chance of getting a hotel sun bed was slim and they were packed together. They had to be manned by hotel staff who asked you if you were a hotel guest. It was a stressful experience so we paid for beach beds in another more relaxing area of the island and it was great to escape to Aegina for the day.
The hotel room looked great on the brochure but had lots of issues.
We stayed on 5 different islands on this trip. This was the most expensive hotel and only hotel that we did not like. Do not be fooled by what the brochure offers.

We stayed for six nights at this beautiful little hotel. It honestly looks exactly like the pictures and overlooks a stunning beach. The decor is gorgeous and the beds are really comfortable. All the food at the hotel was delicious, the grilled octopus was the best we had on the island!! Breakfast was included in the rate and exceeded our expectations, with fresh pastries made daily, juice, coffee/teas, cereals, yoghurt & honey, fruit, cheeses & meats, in addition to a hot selection. The people at the hotel were lovely too, they couldn't do enough to help you and always greeted you with a smile! We had a wonderful stay and would recommend this gem of a hotel to anyone visiting the island.

Boho themed rooms, very clean and cozy. Customer service was great thanks to the blonde lady in reception who was running everything smoothly..Price could have been a bit lower though and wifi was weak.
