Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Rooms have everything you need with comfortable beds and a wet room bathroom. Good driving distance to local attractions and only a 10 minute walk to the local lake. Breakfast has what you need to keep you going till lunch. Will stay again in the future.

We stayed two nights at Kajutan after arriving from Denmark. The hotel is located on the Main Street in Satila with a small supermarket across the road. The room was very clean and newly finished. The bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure was strong. The room was very hot on our arrival with no cooling so during the night we got very hot and stuffy. Thankfully the windows were double glazed which kept out some of the noise from the local kids out the front of the hotel playing Pokemon on their phones which went until 11pm. They created a fair bit of noise running on the wooden boat sculpture below and yahooing. There is a pull down blind on the main window but nothing in the door so the room is a little light by the door as some of the curtains aren't block out. We wished we had only stayed one night but it served it's purpose. The breakfast was fine very basic with rolls, cold meat/cheese, boiled egg (if available) tea/coffee, cereal & yoghurt and juice. We did have dinner one in the restaurant which was very yummy and ok priced.

A lovely hotel with clean, nice rooms and a very friendly and helpful staff. Each room has a small terrace with chairs and a table, and the beach at Lygnern is only a short walk away - the area near Lygnern is very nice and suitable for families. Lovely for a day at the 'beach' or a shors swim in the lake. Sätila is about 40mins by car from Göteborg, so you can easily combine a stay here with a visit to the city or Liseberg. The breakfast was quite simple, but very tasty. There is also a nice restaurant in the same building as the reception. Some noise in the evening, especially from youth riding cars and motorcycles in the area, but it was no big problem. Each room has a small kitchen, and there is a grocery store 20 meters from the hotel. Good value!

If you want to spend a night in satila its a good place to stay. The room was clean. Dont expect to much luxary, its quite basic, but ok for me. I have spent 3 nights. The lake is hard to see from your room, but only a 15 minute walk. Nice fishing place, perfect pier. So dont forget your fishing gear.
