Hotel cancelled my client’s room in the middle of the night when her flight was cancelled after midnight! No notification to me or her. Also billed us for it. Their room manager will not credit us. My client showed up the next morning after getting off thr rescheduled flight to go to room to shower and they said her room wasn’t ready nor even offered a courtesy room. I won’t be booking this hotel for our physicians visiting as a result.

Hotel's Favourite
This is a great location to stay before or after a cruise. Very close to the airport and has a shuttle service. The shuttle will also take you within a 2 mile radius of the hotel. Which was great because we needed to run to Walmart for a few forgotten things we left at home. Brandi at the bar make the best drinks and always has a smile on her face.

Rooms are okay, housekeeping at around 4 pm to clean up, a little late. There was no lotion on the wall. Someone broke off or took the dispenser. Breakfast buffet was, not really impressed that the bananas were super ripe. It was quiet the rooms. Hotel is pretty good, but not best I've stayed in. Lobby area is nice. Would I stay there again? I'd be okay either way. Wouldn't bother me either way.

Front Desk Manager Ryan was very professional and courteous. It was my first time here and he explained where everything was, open and closing hours, and even offered assistance with my bags in the midst of the entire lobby being packed full with college students from Denver, and a lobby full of older men having a great time drinking and socializing in the lobby/bar area. Very friendly environment with a good staff. Thanks again Ryan for making us feel at home!

We flew into Tampa for Billy Joel concert over at Raymond James Stadium and chose this hotel based on reviews and close proximity to the stadium so we would not have to go through the stress of traffic and paying 45 dollars to park.The distance I believe listed 1.1 miles walkable but to entrance of stadium had to be more like 2 miles which for me at 62 and my wife at 58 now the walking of that distance would be challenging for us.This is where this hotel gets a five star review the shuttle service was a tremendous asset as our intent was to get to stadium early by taking Uber from the hotel to stadium and walk back as a last resort if we were unable to secure another Uber back to the hotel.The front desk upon check in explain to us that the shuttle runs every half and provides service over to the stadium or as close as they can get about 1 mile away.We took the shuttle over at that point only ones on the shuttle the driver told us at the drop off point is were there will be a pickup and we’re thinking good luck with that knowing after the concert lets out there will be thousands of people and hundreds of cars out here and the likelihood of getting a ride back to the hotel was bleak.We walked over to meeting point after the show and people everywhere and no Hilton shuttle van and figured lets wait for awhile see what happens and turn around and Hilton van just pulled up my wife and I and other hotel guests about 12 of us fill van quickly and off to the hotel this at the time was huge as we sat upstairs at stadium and had already done quite a bit of walking.Five stars to them for shuttle service.The housekeeping experience one star.Upon check in we were asked if we wanted daily housekeeping and front desk said it was not a additional charge and we said yes as it’s nice to have a clean room on vacation even if you don’t make a mess there is still the need of paper supplies or emptying of trash cans.We checked in on Friday the 23rd and thanked for being a Hilton rewards member and given a room on the second floor and when we walked in I went to the window for the view and it was basically eye level of the roof between two buildings that collects water and sits there with little sun making it look like a rooftop of mold.I am not one to complain and don’t know of me ever requesting a room change but this was too much as I would have to keep curtains closed and at close to 500 dollars a night this is room that should be used when the hotel is full and certainly not at that rate.I call down to the desk and speak to Eileen who was very nice and helpful and checked us in 10 minutes earlier said she had a room on the forth floor for us that faced the pool and we went to the room it was a hundred percent better than the other room thank goodness but at the same time I’m thinking why didn’t you give us this room originally as the front desk certainly knows their rooms.Saturday housekeeping is down the hall and lets get out of the way and go out for a few hours and upon returning housekeeping had cleaned rooms on either side of our room and skipped ours even though we requested housekeeping. I asked the housekeeping attendant about this but the language barrier was not possible.I called housekeeping on the room phone and was told I need to notify them 24 hours in advance and I told her I had upon check in the day before and needed at the least basic supplies hand towels and paper products.Back out again come back later and towels were dropped off and garbage empty but bed and bathroom were not and I spent 39 years in the cleaning business and know the difference but also sympathetic to the staff as it can be a job of little respect and many complaints.But at the same time take pride in your work.Sunday comes we go out early for breakfast and I go to the front desk and see Eileen and explain to her this issue and I spoke to housekeeping on the phone the day before and she said it will be taken care of and when I return to the room later Sunday afternoon housekeeping is off the floor and again room has not been done.Dirty wet towels no paper sheets are a mess this is ridiculous and don’t forget almost 500 a night I call front desk and it’s 4 pm busy they don’t answer the phone I call housekeeping ask to speak to a supervisor they send up Anna a very nice lady who although not a supervisor explain they are very busy and I appreciate that but it’s still got to get done and twice they passed right by our room.We stayed 3 nights and other than Anna coming up for quick cleaning thank you Anna that only occurred because I had to request this over and over otherwise it would have been 3 nights with no housekeeping.A nice hotel but our experience was not.

It's an older but well maintained property. Staff was very responsive - addressed one minor glitch to my full satisfaction. A few restaurants nearby are walkable, and the nearby mall is very nice. Check-in and -out were very easy. Plenty of parking (included in my room rate for a conference).

Stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago on a relocation from the Midwest. Everyone was quite friendly and the hotel made me feel welcome to my new state. I would definitely recommend this location. Thank you Hilton Westshore for your hospitality.

I was very disappointed with my stay at this Hilton. As I was getting ready to shower there was a roach on my shower curtain. It took me 3-4x to flush the toilet. There was I believe a blood stain on the carpet! If you stay on this property I suggest if they give you room 221 DO NOT STAY THERE!

This place list a midnight time of closing their restaurant and at 11:25 the bartender say nope we closed. So fix your posted hours! If you want to close at 11 post 11. Not impressed with customer service provided with this hotel for a “hilton,” this is clearly not on brand standards.

We love staying at the Hilton Westshore when we’re in town visiting family. The staff always welcomes us back like old friends. We’d like to give a shout out to Jim, Bianca, and Brandi in the lounge for their great service. The blackened fish tacos are our new fave! We enjoyed reconnecting with Rideka for the yummy breakfast we had on Christmas morning. Just sorry we missed seeing Kevin! They make a great team! Edwin went above and beyond too making sure Santa had milk and cookies waiting for him in the lobby when he made his stop at the Hilton Westshore! We look forward to another visit in the near future!
