My sister and I flew into Tampa a day early to ensure we made our cruise sailing. Having stayed at numerous Courtyards previously, and noting that we could get a free shuttle ride to the port of Tampa, we booked. Our room had comfortable beds, but we were unable to set the AC/Heat to anything except 71 or 63 degrees....

Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate the 3 out of 5 score but our goal is to exceed just being ok. I will have my maintenance team check the AC in the room and will also make sure that we take a look at the entire room. While not perfect we generally get positive comments on our rooms and...

I'd like to start by saying that the staff at this hotel is very friendly, particularly Nelson, who stood out for his hospitality. However, courteous staff doesn't make up for a crappy hotel room, and this was one of the nastier places I've stayed. Sure, the lobby looks nice and fresh, but unless you plan to sleep there, you may...

Scarletleaf, Thank you for your comments. As General Manager of this property I will look into all aspects of your comments. As you indicated in your comments the hotel was sold out and I assure you that any issues in your room do not represent the hotel at large or we would not have the occupancy levels and returning guests...

Great location. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean. Within walking distance of restaurants and a kid and pet friendly park. Also great for picture taking as it is near the reversal and children's museum.

Stayed here 1 night for a hockey game. Great location in the middle of downtown Tampa, nice pool with a fire pit lounge area. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We were able to get a late checkout which was nice. Good price for the location. I'd stay again.

Thank you for the nice review. Parking is located behind the hotel but with either a valet option or self parking option if the one block is to far then we can still assist! Yes, Courtyard is one of the Marriott hotels that does not offer a complimentary breakfast but the Bistro with more food options including Starbucks is a...

We loved the location of this hotel. The rooms had everything you could need. There was nothing to complain about. We enjoyed the whirpool next to the pool as well. I think that this hotel is prefect for tourists that come to Tampa. Only tiny detail we did not like was that very helpful receptionist told us price of our...

Nothing fancy with this hotel, but it was clean, which is always important, and the location was great in terms of being close to anything you need in downtown Tampa. We arrived around 11:30 and they already had a room ready for us to check in early. Magaly, the front desk representative told us about some St. Patrick's Day activities...

This is a great place to stay in downtown Tampa. It is within walking distance of many attractions, but if you need to go farther, the hotel courtesy van will take you. A you would expect, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is no free breakfast, but the portions in the Bistro are...

Room smelled like wet moldy dog. Traffic noise is loud thruout the night with the highlight being the 130am Amtrak train whistle. (I should have reread the reviews and known to ask for a courtyard room, but this was a last-minute business booking!!) Breakfast service is painfully slow, so plan extra time if you have somewhere to be. The downtown...

Thank you for your feedback and I apologize about your experience. I did check your room and did not detect any odor. With that said, it has been a couple of days since you departed so maybe the issue was addressed and resolved. I will say that our shuttle service starts everyday at 7 am and runs until 11:00 pm...

The Courtyard by Marriott in Tampa works closely with the Norman Parathyroid Center. They offer reduced rates to individuals who are having surgery performed at the Norman Center. We were given a lovely suite type room which had a balcony that you could sit on and watch everything going on. It has been quite some time since we have stayed...
